Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Clean and Pet Friendly First time staying at this property. First impression is good as you drive up the hill from the highway. Had a small dog with us and had to complete a pet form and acknowledge the rules. I thought it said if you were out with the pet before 1PM the room would be serviced, if not, you would not have service. Fair enough. Left the room, with our dog, at about 12:15PM and upon returning around 5 that evening the room was not serviced. Not a big deal since we were only staying 2 nights, but i also paid $50 for the privelege of traveling with our dog and actually received less service. On the dog topic, we were warned about grass burrs in the pet area by another guest, so that was disappointing, but not a show stopper. Otherwise the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, as you would expect from an HI Express. December 12, 2014

The front desk staff is always friendly and courteous -- more than at most hotels. The breakfast foods seem to be better attended to at this location than at some other Holiday Inn locations. It is a great location for visiting the Lakes and wine area in the Hill Country. I will definitely return in the future. December 7, 2014

Management (Kevin) went out of his way to accommodate my needs and to help me when checking in with rates, reservations, etc. Stunning Hill country views from rooms. Rooms are very spacious. Would definitely recommend this property for business OR leisure. December 2, 2014
