The entire property was spotless. Even the view from the rooms window was nice. The breakfast was delicious. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Less than stellar service We were on our way home from Orlando, and found this location when we stopped for dinner. When checking in, the front desk clerk seemed as if we were intruding in her space. We were treated as if checking us in was a major insult to her. There was a young man in the lobby flirting with her, and she spoke mostly to him, only asking me for my credit card and pointing down the hallway to where the elevator was. I was highly disappointed, especially after being in a car for 12 hours! The room was clean, and well appointed, but the bathroom was so small that you could not open the door all the way cause it bumped against the curtain rod. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. The young man at checkout was very friendly, asking if we needed anything else and wishing us a safe trip home. Overall, we will not go out f our way to stay here again, there are other places close by that has staff that do not make you feel so unwelcome. June 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Weird smell big room There was a horrible smell coming from my shower/bathtub. I had a jacuzzi suite but never used the tub because of the foul smell. Nice large room with comfy bed. There is extra security devices by the elevators and stairs. I was not informed of the proper use of theses devices. Location is good. June 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Staff!!! The area had a storm that knocked out the tv service. They had direct tv come in and fix the problem but my room was still out. I went down to the front desk and spoke to Allen, who was extremely helpful and apologetic. He spoke to Keshan (the manager) who came up to my room and took the time to call direct tv to get it corrected. Thank you for the great staff at this location. Great Customer Service. June 28, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Smokey Room and Sticky Door I've stayed here a few times for work. The positives, the beds are comfortable, rooms clean and Elizabeth at the front desk is wonderful! She always has a smile and is friendly and helpful. I interacted as well with a few ladies on the cleaning staff and they were also great. The negatives...with the exception of Elizabeth.. haven't been impressed with the others at the front desk. I didn't ask them for anything but they also didn't go out of their way to greet me or do much of anything. Additionally, my hotel room stank of heavy smoke, though it was a nonsmoking room, such that the stench seeped into all of my clothes. My door stuck and I had to slam into it with my shoulder after swiping my key card to get it to open. The time before I stayed here in a different room, my phone didn't work in my room and the airconditioner stopped working a few days into my stay. Additionally, the Holiday Inn coffee is absolutely terrible. I realize this isn't the fault of the staff necessarily, but Holiday Inn seriously needs to upgrade their coffee. June 14, 2013

Close to Vining, GA, shopping, restaurants, etc. The second day I was here, they ran out of the nice cinnomon rolls for breakfast and replaced it with hot muffins. Breakfast was really good, had hard boiled eggs, etc. The yogurt was not light so anyone with blood sugar issues couldnt eat the 27 grams per reg. yogurt! Staff was delightful and very accommodating. They were replacing carpet while we were there, but wasn't a big deal at all! Will return! May 31, 2013

The location is perfect if you are heading north out of Atlanta, we did not experience any rush hour traffice issues the morning we left. The south bound traffic was backed up at least 10 miles out. The staff is phenomenal, the breakfast is the best that I've had in a long time at a hotel. This hotel is very clean and I love the fact that you actually feel safe. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cost/room charge inflation I was billed a significantly higher price than what was initially quoted on the internet. This was charged directly to my credit card prior to my arrival with no opportunity for refund or cancellation. Please consider more flexibility in this regard. The condition of the wellness/fitness facilities needs to be improved. The exercise equipment available for guests was beyond its useful life. The spa/pool was not functional during the duration of the stay. However, the condition of the rooms was excellent and very clean. The breakfasts were wonderful as you would expect at a Holiday Inn express. April 13, 2013

The front desk clerk (Elizabeth) was wonderful, very pleasant and professional. She was very helpful and was able to book our next nights accomodations for the four of us at the Holiday Inn in Nothern Ohio. I would recommend this hotel to our friends without any hesitation. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Parking & Poor Room Quality The parking lot was extremely difficult to use. Each spot was barely large enough for a small car and most guests had larger vehicles that were parked over the line. There was a semi truck with a large boat taking up at least 10 spots and another semi truck taking up at least 3-4 spots. The room was dingy and dark, wallpaper peeling, stains on ceiling, no darkening curtains for the window, bed was not comfortable, only 1 nightstand for a king bed, bathroom was cramped, shower curtain rod was loose causing curtain to keep opening, tub bottom felt like it was going to collapse, exhaust fan did not work, and elevator required key card access out of reach of door. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A Good Choice Had a very pleasant stay. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was very good with a nice variety. The only downside was the hot tub was down for service. You would not know this until you changed into a bathing suit went downstairs, entered the exercise room and read the sign. If you are heading north on 75 thru Atlanta, you have to cross several lanes in a very short distance to get to the exit for the hotel. We did this on a Saturday night so it was not too bad. After breakfast we had difficulty with the key card entering the elevator area. A housekeeping lady who was nearby took the time to help us. Obviously a hospitality oriented staff at this hotel! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place To Stay While on a business trip to Atlanta, my husband and I stayed at the HI Express Marietta. The staff was extremely professional. As Priority Club members, they upgraded our room as requested. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was hot, fresh and the staff member greeted us when we walked into the breakfast area. The security was was good. The access key card was required to enter the elevator or stairway to floors where rooms were located. We will stay here for all future business trips when meeting with clients in the Marietta area. March 3, 2013
