Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE I had booked a room at a competing hotel chain in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Due to a cancelation of a planned meeting & luncheon with a customer I arrived at the hotel around 11:00 AM, much earlier in the day than anticipated. I was told I could not check in until 3:00PM even though there were rooms available. I canceled that reservation then drove a few miles down the road to Holiday Inn Express in Marion, OH. The staff at Holiday Inn was VERY helpful, friendly, and understanding with an obvious bias for good customer service. They booked me into a room immediately. Not just the room, but the entire property, was clean, neat, modern, and well maintained. I was very pleased with the entire experience. Excellent staff, service and accommodations. I travel quite a bit on business so I know good hotel when I see one. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good quality at very reasonable rates. I should have booked a room here to begin with. April 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thoughtful Hospitality!! I travel quite a bit for my job. I don't like having housekeeping staff coming in and out of my bedroom. I always keep the private sign on my door. Normally, I am used to getting notes left that provide instructions regarding how I can get more towels and toiletries. I was surprised to come back and see that a plastic tote bag with towels and replacement toiletries was left outside of my room door. This is not just hospitality...this is thoughtful hospitality! She offered to change my arrangements and, in doing so, saved me about $100 over my 4 day stay. She also applied corporate discounts that I had forgot to mention when booking - a very friendly staff!
