We had reserved two rooms and were greeted at the front desk in a very professional manner. When we finish checking in we each giving a snack of our choice. which I had never seen before and thought was great.
One room was a King suite which was real nice. The other was a stander room which was nice as well. Both were clean and well stocked with what is needed in a room for the night.
The hotel was quiet and the beds for comfortable. The general look of the rooms is this is new hotel that has been keep looking like it by the staff.
Breakfast was great as well. Bacon, Sausage Biscuits and Gravy eggs and real cool pancake making machine. Lots of cold foods like cereal and such as well. This was one the best hotel breakfasts I had ever seen.
This was our last stop on a trip home to Wisconsin from Florida and a great choice.
My next trip to the area will be stay here again.

Staff of this Holiday Inn were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The room was modern and very comfortable. I really loved staying there.

A few miles after crossing the Mississippi, our began to give us difficulties (in the end, it turned out that our alternator died). All the way to Marion, we worried that we would be stuck at the side of the road with a broken-down vehicle. Upon arrival at the hotel, we found two helpful fellows at the front desk. They listened to our story while checking us in and making us feel welcome-just what we needed. The next morning, one of those fellows was back at the front desk and was able to give valuable information about a local vehicle repair shop. The alternator was replaced and we were on the road before noon. Many thanks to the Holiday Inn Express in Marion, Ill!

It is such a pleasure to stay at a hotel that is clean and well kept. The room was very comfortable, plenty of pillows and towels. The staff was very considerate to keep the breakfast items replenished, even with a overflow crowd. Would stay at this property again!

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful...We were also allowed to brings our two dogs with us, which meant the world. A nice, clean room and comfy beds...Even the dogs slept well.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. From the staff at check-in/check-out to the cleanliness of the rooms to the breakfast choices. The room are very tastefully decorated and have those 'extras' (like mounted reading lamps on each side of the headboard) that you never even knew you were doing without until now. Definitely warrants a return visit.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was great, my room was very nicely equiped and sized, etc. The location was nice...right off the highway. For the price, can't be beat!
