They were, by far, some of the most genuinely kind and friendly staff we have run into in a hotel. It wasn't the highly trained and scripted customer service that you find at most hotels, these were just people who were genuinely kind. I needed some disposable gloves and the housekeeper stopped what she was doing to travel 3 floors to get them for me immediately. People at the front desk gave us an honest review of a restaurant. Martinsville doesn't have much to offer. This is a great place to stay if you want to visit nearby wineries. September 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay! We were so pleased with our stay here. The place was very clean and updated. Our room was very nice and the beds were really comfortable. We heard no noises from other guests and got a great nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was awesome. Such a variety of things to eat. We had come to Indiana to move our daughter to IU and I had waited to find a place to stay. Most of the hotels in Bloomington were already booked so we decided to stay in Martinsville. I was really surprised how easy and close the hotel is to Bloomington. Also it was a beautiful drive. We will definitely stay here again. September 9, 2014

The staff are always friendly and eager to help the customers. The one time I had a very small issue, the staff helped me immediately! Kudos to Angel and Rachel!! I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel and I highly recommend it! Believe me, it's leaps and bounds better than the local competition! Thank you! September 2, 2014
