Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Needs improvement Stayed for IU move in. My son tried to use the exercise equipment. None of it worked correctly. And the hair dryer was broken. My wife went to get a replacement and was told they were out. Not a good hotel experience. Stuff should work. August 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 great service very nice hotel staff very friendly very understanding about pets. breakfast was great with many choices. The pool area was very clean and maintained. The staff was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit and also had maps and menus to the local spots. The staff also gives gift baskets if they can not provide all services to 100% such as upgrades. I would definitely recommend this hotel August 14, 2013

The hotel staff was really friendly, I was recognized for being a platinum member, room was upgraded, bed was comfortable, plenty of TV stations to choose from, I had a great nights sleep. The next morning when I went down for breakfast I was the only person in the breakfast area so I asked the staff if the TV could be changed from CNN to FOX NEWS and was told it was the hotel policy that the station had to stay on CNN all the time. Horrible Policy!!! I can't believe you would have such a stupid policy! If it was not for this one thing I would have given 5 stars across the board and said nothing but good things about the hotel. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor construction and upkeep I stayed in room 226. 1. I could hear the people in the room above, way too much. It was like a poorly constructed house with thin panels of plywood subflooring. It made it difficult to sleep. 2. The carpet had holes in it as well 3. The recumbent bike in the workout center was broken and not labeled as such. June 20, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very Clean but noisy heater and no hot water During our stay we got little sleep due to the noisy room heater and had to have cold showers due to no hot water. The front desk were apologetic but no resolution to the problems. On the positive side, the hotel was very clean and easy to find. February 7, 2013

The next staff person, called the room to verify that I was okay with her giving out the room number! What great staff! To be concerned enough about my safety and well-being, she didn't give out the room information out! I highly recommend Bloomington N- Martinsville! October 22, 2012
