Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A 2.5 hours wait to be checked in!!!! On Friday, April 15th I went to this hotel right after work for a funeral I had to attend the following morning. First, the parking is HORRIBLE!! There is not enough parking space for the amount of rooms they have. People park in every which way because the lot is so small. That was just the beginning. I finally get into the lobby at 11pm and immediately I am greeted by the longest line I have ever seen at a hotel's front desk. I assume the system must be down. NOPE! Not down at all. There is one hotel clerk (a rude one, un-phased by the rapidly growing line) who is taking her sweet time checking individuals in. To add insult to injury, every phone call that is coming through she is picking up. This is usually noble but NOT when there are 14 people in line!!! The phone conversations, also long-winded and with no rush! NONE! I was finally given the key to my room at 1:24AM!!!! That is almost 2.5 hours!!! When I confronted the hotel clerk about this impossible wait, her response "Call the manager. They will be here in the morning." No apologies, no reason for the extensive wait but rather a dismissive response! This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel. I will NOT be visiting this location again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful staff, not the best location for visiting city My family and I stayed here during a weekend trip to NY to see friends and a show. The staff at the hotel were among the most friendly and helpful I have encountered. They actually made the check-in process a relatively enjoyable experience (even after getting stuck in city traffic for two hours!). The hotel itself was adequate, but the location is just not very good if you are hoping to go to the city. The nearest metro stop is a 1/2-hour walk away and the only thing nearby is a gas station. Luckily, the hotel shuttle will drop you off at the metro stop on the way to Laguardia airport, but it will not pick you up on the way back. April 6, 2016

Friendly staff, nice lobby, clean in appearance everywhere, comfortable bed, great selection of breakfast food. Not close to public transportation but the parking lot even though small, was adequate.
