Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed We had traveled about 500 miles when we stopped at Holiday Inn Express in McAlester,Ok. We were very tired. The girl at the desk was very helpful during check-in. We had asked if they had an apple available. ( We like to eat fruit before we go to bed). She said she would be glad to get us one which she did. When we got to the room it was such a relaxing place and very clean. The bed was most comfortable and we enjoyed a very wonderful night's sleep. We would certainly recommend this hotel. February 14, 2013

The rooms are large with a separate sitting area that allowed me to work while my wife watched TV from the bed. It is clean and well-maintained. January 18, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beer and Pizza The highlight was definitely the complimentary pizza and beer on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Though, I could never catch the warm cookies in the lobby on the other days. Lot's of people on business trips and love cookies just like me I guess. The fitness center was small. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room Needs Updating and Cleaned I've stayed at this hotel twice and the first time wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. The room was nice and maintained and the front desk staff was tolerable. This time, the experience was even less satisfying. The room's curtains and valance were stained, the staff wasn't very personable. There was no acknowledgement from the staff about be a Priority Club member, and other things that didn't make it a pleasant experience. The stay was so disappointing that I plan on staying at another hotel when I return to McAlester. December 9, 2012
