Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay The only down side ( the ONLY downside) to the entire stay was the breakfast. The staff was not prepared for the early morning onslaught of guests. Eggs and biscuits were not ready and guest were lined up for some time waiting. Great room, great front desk staff. Additional lighting for the parking lot would be appreciated. Overall (minus breakfast) a 5 of 5 for the room and staff. September 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed, poor breakfast, pool should be for guest only! Let me start off by saying the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel. The price was good too. Now for the bad parts of this hotel. The pool has a sign on the gate that states for guest only and you have to have a key card to get in the gate. When we arrived at 3 pm. on a Saturday afternoon the pool was being occupied by about 10 children and about 7 adults. They were not guest at the hotel but yet they had a key card.They reason why I know they were not guest is because they were having a childrens birthday party that included a table set up with cake, ice cream, presents, hotdogs, chips oh and beer! We walked around to look at the pool because we were planning on taking a nice dip in the pool or whirlpool but the whole pool area was full. Someone from the crowd seen us looking in and shouted " ya'll can come swimming we don't mind." As if we needed their permission to use the pool. The pool and whirlpool was full of children in diapers and they even had a 2 infants in play pins. They had the used all the towels on the towel rack and all the tables had food and cake on them. They were there until late in the even when they finally loaded up the presents in their car and went home. The breakfast was a joke. There was no eggs and the juice dispenser was empty August 28, 2014
