Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable and spacious with a lovely bathroom and facilities. What impressed me the most was the superb service we got every morning during breakfast. Excellent location for shopping, restaurants and supermarkets. We enjoyed shopping at Tanger Outlet. We would recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

We were away from the children and opted for this location because it was close to the Tanger Outlet area. Very close to Cracker Barrel and Ruby Tuesday. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

This was the last night of an 11 night trip. And this was a very nice motel to end our trip and leave a good memory in our minds of a very pleasant motel experience. We usually stay at Holiday Inns when we travel, and motels like the one in Mebane are why!

I've been staying at this Holiday Inn Express for years. I like the location, and the staff was terrific. However, it's time for some updating.
The desk chair was falling apart; the coffee pot's hot plate was rusty; the furniture in general is worn; the bathroom door was quite worn; and the landscape lighting along the front sidewalk is in need of repair.
Once a new, beautiful hotel, it's now in need of some attention.
On the bright side, the desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. And I thank them for making that aspect of my stay the best it could be. Kudos to them!

I choose where I stay and this HIE will be my last choice for this area of NC

Trash from cleaning rooms during the day that smelled was left close to door all night in hallway. Rooms were not clean (carpet), bathroom old and outdated needing repair. Furniture old looking. This hotel needs major upgrade and updating. Will not stay there again.

No non-smoking rooms were available. Loud highway traffic noise
hampered sleep. Very poor paint touch- up work on room walls. Overall quality of room was not worth price charged.

The towels that were in my room were stained with something that appeared to be blood. I was very disturbed by this and will not be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel is not your up to date hie. It is old and not inviting. The lobby looks like back in the 70. Will not stay again

We have always stay at HIE Mebane when visiting family in the area for the last 8 + years. We have stayed there twice just this year. Both times we have have been disappointed in the housekeeping standards. Their pride in their work seems to have dropped. Also other guest are not held accountable for inappropriate behavior impacting other guests. Behavior such as smoking and drinking(alcohol) at hotel entrance, running and loud talking in hallways late into the night. We were very disappointed. Probably will not stay there next visit.

Our company booked this property for a Wedding Group coming to NC from NJ & NY... We booked sleeping rooms for the out of town Guests as well as the conference room for the rehearsal dinner... We even had part of our staff staying at the property... Everyone ~ from the Bride & Groom to the Bridal Party Members to our staff ~ expressed how much they enjoyed their stay... The property is closely located near several restaurants & convenience stores... The rooms were exceptionally clean & the front desk staff was friendly & quite helpful... The Sales Manager, Ms. Harris, was an absolute pleasure to work with & our company looks forward to doing business with this property again in the near future... Thank you!

We stayed here for the weekend wedding of our son. It was very convenient and staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to others. Only drawback was scarcity of towels - seems they have to do laundry daily before fully stocking the room.

Hotel needs to be updated after long enough service. HVAC units noisy, tiles cracked, tubs finish worn out hard to clean, not enough ac power outlets.
Same breakfast options as last year... Breakfast should be available for later hours on weekends when people sleep in.
It would be nice if USA Today delivered to room door like other hotels.
Not enough noise reduction, can hear loud trucks going down the highway next door.
Next trip to this area going to try the hotel next door.

This HI may not have all the upgrades that some do, but I will gladly trade a tiled bathroom for wallpaper, as long as the wonderful jacuzzi is included! It was a blessing after driving all day with a sore hip! Tiffany checked me in with no problem, and was very friendly. She answered questions I had about finding a drug store. I wish they had information in the room about local stores, especially the outlet mall. I picked the hotel because it was on my route and had a jacuzzi tub. I was not disappointed.

Good value, great breakfast and very cliean. Only negative is the front desk staff. They were often not at the front desk and there is no regognition that any of us were Priority Club members. Another minor suggestion deals with the hangers in the rooms of the type that only works with the installed rods. They are not that easy to use and would be better to just be regular hangers.

I wasdisappointed in the room and housekeeping service. The inn is in desperate need of an update and maintenance. Paint peeling in the bathroom, missing caulking around the tub and the tub was very cheap or installed incorrectly. While showering the tub would bow and creak. Biggest complaint-six nights and never received fresh linens. Not important to everyone but the fitness room does not have an elliptical machine.

I stay exclusively in Holiday Inns. I conduct sales and customer service seminars with material drawn from 35 years of experience. Consequently, I am always looking to categorize excellent, good, fair, poor and bad customer service. All too many hotel desk clerks lack proper customer service skills and many times will behave as though they do not want to be there. They have no empathy for customers and many have the personality of a frog!
No so at the Holiday Inn in Mebane. Upon our arrival my wife and I were cheerfully and warmly greeted by the lady at the desk and the manager. They wanted to make certain we were going to be comfortable during our one-night stay and engaged in some nice conversation to make us feel welcome.
I definitely recommend this Holiday Inn.

Rooms were old and musty smelling and furniture outdated. Hotel in general not very well maintained or cleaned. Would not recommend and would not stay at the HIE in Mebane again. Also requested several times for a room upgrade and was told no room was available but saw several empty suites through out my stay. Manager also spoke poorly to guest about other guest staying in the hotel. There was also a church praise session with band and singing held in the meeting room so the entire first floor had to deal with loud music throughout the entire weekend.

If you have AT&T as a carrier you will rest comfortability as there is no signal what so ever. Also like many other Holiday Inns the internet signal strength could be better.

Staff was great, however, sleeping room was not clean. Bathroom had hair everywhere. Carpet had food and clothes tags in main sleeping room. Just not clean.
