Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stink bugs? I had to kill 5 stink bugs in my room. After I killed the third one, I called down to the from desk. I was told they are no big deal and that they will not climb on me at night. I was also told that stink bugs are common to the area and that it is illegal for the cleaning staff to kill them when they are cleaning the rooms. If it wasn't 10pm by the time I killed my third bug, I would have demanded a refund and gone elsewhere! Another question...when did Holiday Inn Express stop giving a water/snack to hotel club members? I asked about getting a water and the guy at the front desk told me I was crazy and that the hotel chain does not do that anymore. He actually made me feel cheap and stupid for asking. I will NOT be staying at that hotel again and may decide to abandon all Holiday Inn Expresses in the future! February 15, 2014

The front desk staff are the nicest people you'll find anywhere. They always make sure everything is okay for You. The breakfast ladies here .. always speak and makes sure everything is always clean. We have known the desk manager for years and thinks she does a wonderful job. The rooms are always in top shape and the hotel is near several places to grab a quick bite to eat after a long drive. I stressed to The front desk agent my need NOT to Smell cigarettes and she moved us to a room on a floor with no Smoking. Room was super clean, bed was so comfortable my Mom asked me to find out what kind of mattress they have. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Ps.. I'm a travel agent, and I have stayed at world class resorts. This was the best HI I've ever stayed in. November 14, 2013

I picked this property because of the location because it was close to where I needed to be and my typical chain did not have a location nearby. The property however could use a little work. I would not stay anywhere else. Always consistent, clean, accommodating. On the rare occasion there was an issue with my room, I can only think of one, (past guest broke the refrigerator thermostat knob) it got resolved ASAP. I've stayed a couple of times now thinking that I just got a bad room the first time. There is an odor in the rooms, like from when they used to be smoking rooms and they haven't properly eradicated the smell. I've stayed in a lot of Holiday Inns and Expresses lately, this one just hasn't upgraded like the rest that I've stayed in. November 10, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Average stay No actual complaints but could use improvements. Staff was nice and room was clean. Beds could be more comfortable and could have better "blackout" curtains, light came right in underneath. Mini-fridge wasn't really cold, and the coffee pot is in the bathroom, which is gross being right next to the toilet. It was ok for one night, but wouldn't be acceptable for an extended stay.
