Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the price I stayed here for the 2nd time for business. The overall experience is good, however, there are 2 areas that they need to improve on. 1) the air-conditioning unit in the room is very load so if you want to keep the room cold at night and you are a light sleeper, you should probably not stay here. It doesn't bother me that much but it can be annoying, also when you want to watch TV. 2) The internet service provided is horrible. You do get full signal, no question about that, but the speed is not up to standard. I stayed here for 10 days and during that time of course I wanted to watch some Netflix or other US channels and it was super slow to watch anything. the speed was good enough to work. Overall, for business travelers, I would stay here again. Would I stay here with my girlfriend? Most likely not. November 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A Good Hotel In a Safe Location The hotel is in a very nice and safe area of Medellin and there are many restaurants nearby. It's quite a distance to the Metro but there are always plenty of reasonably priced cabs available. The breakfast is self service on the 21st floor and has very efficient staff. We found the choices to be fine and the hot food was always hot. We had a large room with a kitchenette with only one plate and no utensils! The hotel could do with some minor maintenance in our room such as repairing bathroom sink plug, shower curtain rail, caulking around bath taps and loose screws on door security lock. The WiFi is really slow, sporadic and disconnects often to the point of being unusable at certain times. The public computers in the lobby worked fine however. Overall a good place to stay but insure you have a data plan on your phone if internet and email are required for your stay. Bring your own pots and pans if you intend to cook. November 6, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a very good experience The hotel is located one hour away from the Airport. They do not have shuttle service. Guests are responsible to get a taxi to hotel for 35.00 dollars, one way. Hope you speak Spanish. Once we got to the hotel I was chastised by the staff member for not mentioning I had my wife with me and was promptly charged extra. (I was also asked to provide reservation paperwork). The Hotel does not have proper signs outside. You have to walk through other businesses to get to it. The staff did not acknowledge we were Platinum members. The room was dimly lit. Bathroom sink was leaking. The curtains did not cover the whole window, but it was still dark enough to sleep. The hotel is independently managed and I guess they think they provide a comparable experience as Holiday Inn Hotels from the U.S. October 26, 2014
