Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed I had actually booked a Suite. We came from Wisconsin to my brother in law's funeral. I wanted the suite so we could have family come by and all of us gather and laugh, cry and enjoy each other. Unfortunately, the suite had issues and we were switched to a regular room. The room was perfectly fine and functioned fine but we had a very difficult time visiting in it with 1 bed and 2 chairs. On the second night I went to the desk hoping they could put us into the suite. They couldn't but they were kind and brought chairs to our room and comped us some of the cost. The first person we talked to wouldn't do this the second one did. I appreciated all they did. September 14, 2014

I have always had good service when staying at this location, as I am up here at least one time each year. A couple of good places for drinks and dinner within walking distance, and plenty of other choices within a few minutes. September 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No hot water to take a shower, then no water at all Arrived Saturday evening after a long day. Tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. We were tired and did not bother to complain and went to sleep. Next morning I went to eat and my wife tried to take a shower. Again no hot water. She complained and was told that she should run the water for ten minutes - which appears to contradict the conservation policy of the hotel as there are signs in the bathroom requesting you do not ask for clean towels every day you stay - all in the name of "conservation", of course. I came back and tried to see if my wife had done something wrong and this time there was no water at all. I called and the manager let us take showers in a room across the hall. Had to move everything out and in to a new room, just to take a shower - something one would expect is a basic service at a Holiday Inn. Best part is although the manager was apologetic and told me she was refunding my points, she never did. would not recommend this property. August 29, 2014
