Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A northeast charm! HIE in Merrimack has become a second home due to work related travel since Nov-2014. I had initially tried 3 different hotels in the area and eventually became a fan of this location. I am not a demanding customer but I get easily turned off when express hotels don't do basic things well such as access to wifi, clean rooms, good coffee, healthy selection of breakfast, location and (most importantly) warm/professional staff. This hotel scores excellent on all those fronts. It is a testament to the management and leadership of this branch and values they promote to everyone that works here. You will be always greeted with a smile and accomodated readily to make your stay comfortable. Of special note are managers like John (always knowing your name and greeting you personally), Ryan (speedy checkout process), Gail in kitchen (always taking care of my breakfast as I am a vegetarian) and especially night manager Kay (always helpful with great recommendations for restaurants/bars, providing helpful details about IHG program and best part: delicious fresh cookies). It has been a pleasure to spend my time here. I will definitely miss it when I stop coming here. A definite northeast charm! May 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant , helpful and polite staff Excellent stay for a hockey tournament occuring when many college graduations also occuring so hotel was booked. Nevertheless, we did not have a single negative interaction. Hotel manager (Jason I believe was his name) was accomodating and professional. Great attitude by all for such a crazy weekend. My only issue was that I slept on the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable and short. Other than that, wonderful stay May 18, 2015
