About the hotel I would like to tell that everything it's OK, because I usually stay at non smoking room, but at my arrived I was asigned to a smoking room and I thougt it could be tolerable and that was's like that, so i offer an apologize when I ask to the reception people for a change an that was done, I had a bigger and best room without any kind of troubles.

This is "my favorite Hotel in Mexico. This hotel recognizes Platinum status giving everyday extra amenities. The staff is very helpful especially, Leticia, who cleans our room. She did extra effort to take care of my mother. Leticia prepared the bed for my mother with three blankets.

This hotel is in the middle of the city so its really comfortable to stay.
Is still under construction, so you can see some places without walls but even do its a really nice Hotel with a really nice view.

Excellent service from hotel staff. Walking distance from financial and touristic attractions. Good restaurants & bars at the Crowne Plaza (next door). Hotel has a new lift, new and modern gym equipment. Familiar suite is very convenient due to the size of the rooms, which include minibar with sodas, beer & snacks free of charge. Thank you.

Esta es la cuarta ocasion que me hospedo en este hotel y el problema es el mismo, el internet en las habitaciones es malisimo nunca te puedes conectar, la señal es intermitente.
en cambio bajas al desayunador e inmediatamente hay conexion es de suma importancia que atiendan esto.

I stayed 4 nights at the hotel and I have no complain on the services, cleanliness and alimentation since all these aspects were very good to me. However the internet connection was very poor and I faced many problems to take some calls during the time I expend there.
Besides of that, everything was ok and looking forward to visit you on my next trip to Mexico.

The hotel is very convenient for the World Trade Center, but tht's about it.
There is no WIFI internet service - or very intermittent at best, and no cable internet service in the rooms, despite the little notice I the room. After mentioning it to the staff, nothing was ever done about it during my stay and gave significant additional expense which I wasn't expecting, so any savings on room cost will have disappeared. I was with a colleague who stayed on a different floor who experienced the same problems, both in room and in public areas.
The room was clean enough, but it was noticed that the room was not vacuumed during my 5 day stay.
Also, emails to the hotel in advance regarding reservation details went totally unanswered.
Overall, the staff just didn't seem to care.
Next time, I'll be staying somewhere else.

Next to the WTC, near trnasportation,restaurants,theaters, etc.
Needs a jacuzzi /spa to relax after a long day walking in the city. They should remove the gym, nobody uses, and put the spa right there.
Breakfast good but a lot of the same.
I hope to see these remcomended changes next time I'm there.

I was placed on up-grade room in front of the elevator and I wasn't able to sleep at all because of the elevator ring. Unfortunately they only had smoking rooms left and I had to stay in this noise room.
The next day they were able to change my room but I was very upset that they placed me in a room in front of the elevator.
The positive thing about it is that the receptionist (Julieta) patiently listen to my complaints and that evening she sent me a bowl of fruits as a courtesy. She also sent me several shampoos since in my noisy room they did had any shampoos.

As a Priority Club diamond member I was a bit sceptical to book this hotel as I've read a few very bad comments here and as I invited customers to stay there as well. But the location of the hotel just perfectly matched our plans.
The more I was surprised to find an actually quite nice hotel with large and comfortable rooms - not highest standard but absolutely ok with and a fresh design.
As regards to the breakfast, I had way more basic breakfasts at newer Holiday Inn Express hotels - so that was definitely a positive surprise.
The fact that the HIE is connected directly with the Crowne Plaza and you can use the restaurant and bars of the CP - including putting the bill on your room - definitely enhances the overall services of this hotel.
Only downpoints are the from ok to very slow varying internet connection and the not really well equipped gym in which it feels like being in an aquarium next to the people who have breakfast.
Would definitely stay there again for 1-2 nights!
Tipp: At night, just walk over to road to the World Trade Center and have a drink at the world's largest revolving restaurant on top of it. The view is amazing!

This hotel has one great advantage...it sits across the street from the World Trade Center. However, this "plus" was overshadowed by the horrendous Internet access and little things that were bothersome:
*Internet access was virtually non-existent for the whole week that I was in the hotel.
* couldn't set dead bolt lock on the door
* door handle was broken and I had to ask twice to have it fixed
* I had to be careful with the desk chair so I wouldn't fall backward
* the bathroom sink counter let water run all over the floor...stupid design
* had to call twice to have the bell hop come up to help with my luggage
Future trips will be focused on staying at other Holiday Inns in Mexico City.

For the price, there are many better hotels in the area.
I hated the lousy internet service and the complete inability of the IT team to fix anything in 5 days.
The Manager confirmed that the service was lousy but was helpless to improve matters because his management were not interested.
The breakfasts were awful in every respect
The place feels old and tired

Desafortunadamente mi experiencia en el hotel fué totalmente decepcionante, hay abandono en cuanto al mantenimiento y muchas obras realizandose sin señalamientos o cuidado para los huespedes. Muy poco mantenimiento a los muebles y pésimo servicio de TV.
Definitivamente no volveré a hospedarme en este hotel por el costo que es por demás alto comparado con otros de menor categoría o similares de la cadena.

We have experienced a lot of issues:
- Assigned room was already ocupied by a person.
- Room clean service even the do not disburd sign was set knocked and open the door.
- Parking was charged even we are Platinum Priority.
