Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable but noisy I have stayed at this hotel for my last 4 years when I visit this area. The rooms are fine and comfort, but the last stay I had wasn't really comfort. There is some unknown person keep knocking the door at nearly 6;00am, that really makes not comfortable. But, overall, this hotel is comfortable for my last 4 years experience. The above situation is probably happened occasionally. August 3, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Well kept public areas; dirty dissapointing room I have stayed in thjs property in the past without major issues. Last stay had been at least 10 months ago. Having stayed at other Holiday Inn properties at Mexico City, I was first surprised that at this Hotel, in recognition of my IHG Gold membership I was offered either a snack OR a water bottle ( I am usually offered both). I asked about it, and I was expressly told that it was either one or the other but not both..... Anyway, no major issue here; I can always buy water at the shopping mall nearby. The point that was concerning to me was that my room was far from qualifying as "clean". The carpet showed evident signs that had not been washed cleaned in long time, the lamp desk by the bed showed signs of smoke burns and there was a very noticeable and nasty stain on the room's ceiling. Fortunately, I only stayed a very short night on this property. August 2, 2014

My only complaints were with the speed and efficiency of the front desk staff and the quality of the breakfast provided. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but it seemed to take them a long time to accomplish anything. Checking in took a long time, and then I later waited over 20 minutes to ask them a question about the "business center" computers while they waited on 2 guests in front of me. (A 3d staff member behind the desk simply observed and made no effort to help out). I don't mind waiting my turn, however, this seemed very typical whenever I went to the front desk for anything. I only ate breakfast at the hotel one time; the food offerings were poor and in some cases not being replenished, so there was limited items to choose from. Even the coffee urn was practically empty. The breakfast area staff were not as friendly and helpful as the front desk staff. Despite these minor issues, the rooms were comfortable and clean and I would stay there again! July 29, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not charged properly I recently rented 3 rooms for 5 nights. One party in one of the rooms left a day early, told the front desk he was leaving, therfore assuming I would not be charged for the vacant room but was I charged anyway. The front desk person told me he had to charge me and that the room was not vacant. The room had been vacant since 11:AM that morning. It seems the housekeeping staff would have noticed the room was vacant. In fact, I would bet they did. I have worked in the industry before and that is the way it works. As soon as a room is vacant, the front desk knows it. I'm thinking I will not go back to that IHG property even though the location is great for my trips to Mexico City twice a year. July 22, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Envío de Factura Electrónica Hola: Al momento de realizar el check out, la impresora se descompuso y no pudieron obtener mi factura. Realmente fue muy dificil que pudiera obtener el documento, tuve que llamar telefonicamente aprox. 8 ocasiones, hasta que una semana después una persona de contabilidad me solicitó mi RFC y pudo enviarla. Realmente falta coordinación, comunicación y acceso a la información por el personal de la recepción. No es posible que si la recepción está disponible las 24 horas y es el contacto con el cliente, no tengan acceso a este tipo de información y puedan realizar el envío. En más de 3 ocasiones me comunicaron a Contabilidad y únicamente puede ser en un horario de 9 a 6, de cualquier otra forma tienes que esperar. Ojala tomen medidas en el asunto. July 20, 2014

The manager told me everyone watches TV despite me telling him that I did not arrive back to the hotel till night. Would not let me back into the room until I bought a $385 TV, which I could have bought at Walmart for $150. The worst hotel experience I have had in 25 years of business travel. July 7, 2014

I did arrive to the hotel on Saturday June 28 at 11:15 am, the employee on the front counter told me that my room was not ready, weird!!! When I asked when it will be ready she told me that the my room could be assign if I pay half rate for the getting to the room before 1:00 p.m.. I ask for the manager and for my surprise the manager was not in the shift, he will arrive at 2:00 p.m. I asked her to check why I need to pay half rate for just two hours if she has the room available. She limit to say that is the rule that the manager establish... she apologizes multiple times, but that is the rule. Employees should be empower to make decisions that to not harm the company but satisfy the customer. I will definitely stay in Holiday Inn again, but maybe not in this one July 6, 2014

Me había quedado hace ya algunos años en este hotel con una muy aceptable opinión en todos los aspectos, sobre todo por la inmejorable ubicación en la señorial Paseo de la Reforma. Veo ahora que los años han hecho literalmente estragos, desde el estado lamentable de las toallas y cobijas hasta el estruendoso ruido del equipo de aire acondicionado, acusando años de uso y desatención. Aunado a lo anterior, una asignación equivocada, extraña y a más alto costo en mi reservación, necesidad de que una persona de Mantenimiento tuviera que abrir mi habitación (¿?) "es que no tenemos Sistema para darle las tarjetas señor" y otros menesteres han hecho que en mi reencuentro con este hotel, mi evaluación sobre el mismo sea un lánguido Regular. Lástima que no haya tenido la precaución de leer las abundantes críticas vertidas en este espacio y que evidentemente giran en torno a los mismos temas. July 1, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Es como dormir en cama de Hospital En mi reciente estadía en el DF, tuve que alojarme en el Hotel Holiday Inn Express Reforma- el hotel está muy bien ubicado en la avenida reforma, al par de un centro comercial muy variado y de buen gusto. Lastimosamente no puedo decir lo mismo del hotel, es un hotel totalmente pasado de moda, una renovación le vendría bien, las camas son extremadamente incómodas, han adquirido colchones ortopédicos full, los cuales son ideales para personas con problemas o cirugías de columna, pero no necesariamente aplica a todo tipo de persona, no tienen otras opciones de habitaciones ni de colchones. Los baños no ofrecen nada de comodidad, tienen aspecto sucio, cerámica y juntas de cerámica enmohecidas, la temperatura del cuarto es difícil de regular, además de ser un sistema ruidoso, y la barra de desayunos deja mucho que desear, desde la presentación hasta la calidad de la comida proporcionada, al final mejor opté por comprar mis desayunos fuera. NO recomiendo este hotel, no vale la pena su precio vs. lo que ofrece, hay más opciones en el paseo Reforma que están en mucho mejor condicion. June 8, 2014

The breakfast was very poor (ex. no hot milk) and the vending machines were only in one floor. I don't recommend the hotel for anybody. May 27, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unforgivable mistake I checked in at night and dropped my bags in the room without turning on the lights as I wanted to get a bite to eat. When I came back half an hour later I saw someone's suitcase in the room. I had been assigned a room that was already occupied. Thank god I did not walk in on them! When I went to the reception I was told that this had already happened once, as if this was a viable excuse. The blame was placed on the cleaning lady. I don't really care whose fault it was, being given an occupied room is unforgivable. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable. I am a platinum member with IHG so I do frequent the Holiday Inn Express Brand but I would never recommend this particular one. April 28, 2014
