Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Conveniently located to airport and great food! Nice location close to airport. Nice friendly staff. Needs a lot of upgrades to interior and upgrade to furniture. I was impressed with breakfast --pancake maker, I guess so to keep up with the competition (I-Hop) next door. And delicious Cinnabon rolls. Not too sound proof. Room was by the elevator. Other than that, I would stay again. February 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Night before The Cruise! Excellent hotel to stay in the night before a cruise out of Port of Miami. Shuttle pick up at MIA was fantastic and we were made to feel welcome the moment the driver pulled over. At the hotel the front desk crew were happy to see us (not faked!) and were in a good mood. They were helpful in suggesting somewhere to grab a meal, setting up our shuttle for the next morning and giving directions to the nearest liquor store to make purchases for the cruise. Room was large and clean, bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and the products in the bathroom were terrific. We will be staying here prior to our next cruise! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cleanliness not present and preferences ignored I have stayed at this location a few times prior with no issues however this last trip was not the same experience. First, my preferences for high floor away from elevator were not considered as I was second floor second room from elevator and across from vending machines. Next, my room had a horrible stale stench upon entering which never went away after various attempts to improve. Finally, the room was not cleaned properly or inspected recently by maintenance or management. There was hairs from previous guests I assume since their was a variety of them all over; the bed, the shower, the sink, the bathroom floor and counter-top, etc. In addition, i discovered my large towels were all stained and not destroyed properly. And the toilet seat was literately falling apart and needed to be replaced, the entire seat was damaged. I am going to avoid this location and wait for the new hotel to open down the street.
