Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer it looks like a HI Express - but the rooms
are more like a cheap motel competitor I cannot mention!
Room and bathroom doors didn't close; window was small, paint color was mustard, provided electric lighting was poor, resulting in a dark, dingy, dank room; the mattress was old, far too soft, springs and noisy; the pool is NOT on-site (walk to a sister property 2.5 blocks away).
TV size and channel line-up was great which is important since there is nothing to do within easy walking distance.
From the outside, it looks like a Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are so poor I'm surprised this property still retains affiliation with HI Express.

Highly recommended for a short few days pre cruise stay.
It's quite a distance from the metro station [normal walk speed about 40 minutes one way] but they have a superb shuttle service that is willing to take you to the airport/ metro station or back to the hotel. Just make sure you have their lobby telephone number in hand.
Then they have this shuttle service to the cruise port for a nominal fee of $10.00 per person one way which is great for a pre or post cruise stay [cheap and good].
The hotel is a bit old if you compare with the other HIE nearby [which is exactly below the flight path of the airport] but it's quiet enough to have a good night rest.

The hotel offers good value for money. Staff is very courteous and friendly and the hotel shuttle is very effective. The appearance of the hotel needs some upgrading, as the lobbies look quite old-fashioned and the doors do not give great confidence. It is very well located if you are flying early in the morning, as the ride to the Airport does not take more than one quarter of an hour. In all, a good experience.
