My expectations for a pleasant stay at this Holiday Inn express was high as i checked in.The lobby was neat and clean the staff was proffesional and helpfull.When i got to my room it was an alltogether different experiance.The wallpaper was pealing in multiple areas and was stained .I found large holes in the curtians.The bathroom was dingy and outdated not to mention that the toilet was clogged.I was there to attend a wake and funeral the next morning so i endured not wanting to attempt to relocate.The most disturbing problem was when i returned to my room after the wake to find that my room door had not locked as i left,it turns out that you must slam the door for it to latch.I found nothing missing but yet did not feel secure.I checked out early the next morning vowing to never return to a Holiday Inn again.

We were there with a club, service was great . everyone on staff were friendly. our room attendent was very nice (Michele) if you stay we hope you get her.

I brought a girls softball team to this hotel,reserving twelve rooms. Kate at the front desk was very helpful, thou getting to talk to someone for a group rate took many phone calls over the coarse of a week.Then, multiple families had to call to make reservations a second time, as the first were lost, or never entered, or whatever.Upon arriving at the hotel at 4:30 (check in starts at 3)we were told that rooms weren't ready, and it would be at least 30 minutes.Breakfast is supposed to start at 7 AM. At 6:55, an elderly patron asked the woman setting up when the hot items would be coming out (as the other items were all out). The employee, rudely told him to "relax, breakfast starts at 7". Our room was a King with a pull out sofa. When we opened it for my daughter and another girl to sleep on, we were greeted by dirty bed linens.
Overall, the experience with this establishment and it's staff was extremely disappointing. We plan on being in the area for tournaments again next year, and I am positive that this hotel has been crossed off of everyone's list.

The desk clerks were very nice and helpful for all matters. The room we received was HUGE compared to other HI rooms we have stayed in and we loved it! I liked the room and the hotel was very beautiful. Unfortunately, I have to say that the cleaning staff needs to do a better job. I always try to stay at HI because they have nice staff, great breakfast and clean rooms. Our bathroom was not up to par this time around. The bathtub was not cleaned at all -it looked just rinsed-there was hair ALL OVER and on the faucet. It was not noticable if you want a shower BUT I look forward to a bath at hotels becuase all we have is a shower at home and I had to clean the shower. As a result, I used one of the washcloths to wash the tub and one for myself which left none for the others in the room. I called the front desk and she offered to come up and clean it but I knew she was the only one down there so I told her I would clean it myself. Next I had to go down to get more towels since they only left 3 towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. There was only one part of a roll of TP and the other one was empty. I feel bad for the people at the front desk who have to take the blunt of upset patrons when it is actually the fault of the cleaning persons. Signs all over the place said "rate us a 10" but I am afraid the 10 goes to the front desk who did their best to make everyone happy.

The room temp was 47 degrees when we got there. The next day maintenance changed the thermostat, but still there were issues that the temperature was off. Our room was not cleaned the 1st morning. The 2nd morning no toilet paper was left when they cleaned. I went to the front desk for toilet paper once and for towels once and there was no one there and no one came as I waited 10 minutes. Not the best Holiday Inn Express service at this hotel.

The rooms we had were not kept up to the standard we are used to seeing in the H I line.. we only use this chain for all my husbands business travel for years and we weren't too impressed.. Especially for the price... rooms looked nice upon walking in, however the bathrooms were not up to standard.. Tub had cracks, tiles missing, smelly shower curtain.. like it needed to be washed... Over all the experience was ok.. but attention to details is what we expect

This is my place to stay when I am back in town to visit friends. The staff are friendly and work hard to please. Any problems that are brought to attention, are corrected swiftly. Management makes sure all guests are greeted with smiles and professionalism, if not, they want to know about it. Hope to return soon!

The rooms were very comfortable & the breakfast was good. The staff was most helpfull. The computer system frozen as we were checking in but the front desk got us checked in & let us get to our room as soon as possible without waiting for the computer. The breakfast staff was very nice & refilled immediately so there was always something at the ready.
We would go back there again.

nice clean rooms but think carpet cleaning should wait until rooms are empty didnt exspect to have so many people with acess to our room, was not told about it on check in ,left with damp floors. desk staff very helpfuf in other matters. comfortable bed ,torn curtains ifixed with paper clips to keep light out . jz

Everything was fine but the shower was cold. The only thing i care about when staying at a hotel is a HOT SHOWER. you get maybe 2 minutes of hot water if you are lucky. I stayed two nights and both nights the shower was cold. One thing i like about holiday inn is the express envelope under the door in the morning. This is the only one i have stayed at that did not give me that. Though the express checkout is not a deal breaker i probably will try and stay elsewhere in the future due to cold showers.

First, the good: this is one of the prettiest Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed in, and I've been in many all over the country. The room and hotel were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was uniformly polite and helpful.
Now, on to the bad... The breakfast was the worst I've encountered yet in a Holiday Inn. The selection was very limited (no pancakes, one fewer hot entree than any other breakfast I've seen offered, and no hard-boiled eggs), and the omelets on our first day were burned. The hot water for the shower regularly cut out (based on the frequency and duration, I think it happened every time someone in the hotel flushed a toilet). We also weren't given an express checkout slip, which as Priority Club members we have gotten at every other Holiday Inn Express, and when we asked about it the front desk didn't seem to know what we were talking about.
With a few improvements to the breakfast and, more importantly, the plumbing, this could be a great hotel. But until I'm sure these problems are fixed I won't be staying here again.

We stayed here during the winter blizzards, but only for one day. It seems to be a good hotel, clean and friendly staff. The only issue is that it took a while for me to get the reservation and had to wait in the hotel lobby for long time to get a room.

We have stayed here before and really liked it..This time we got a suite because we had our 2 grandkids visiting us..The room was very roomey but we didn't have enough towels and had to ask for them and one day the room was never cleaned and we had to go to the front desk for clean towels..I thought for the price of the room (which wasn't cheap) things could have been alittle better..
The front desk staff was excellent trying to accomodate us and always saying they were sorry for the inconvience..

Smelled like marijuana in lobby and elevators, loud noise, and music all night couldn't sleep. When I checked out and mentioned issues to morning staff she said did you talk to front desk at the time I said it was 2:30a.m. we just got in around 1:00a.m. I was very tired just trying to get to sleep. She says should called desk. Like it was no big deal pretty unprofessional.

I have stayed at this hotel for the last time. I have stayed here several nights over the last several months. Each time the rooms are in worse shape then the time before. One stay the toilet was like sitting on a rocking chair. Securing it to the floor would change that. Another time the cap to the sink stopper was missing,making it difficult to clean up.
This last stay was by far the worst.
1) Sink had no stopper
2) Smoking room with no ash trays....the young lady at the front desk only had a coffee pot to offer me
3) privacy curtain looked like a cat tried to climb it.
4) turned on TV to go to sleep all I got was static
5) does not meet up to the price tag I paid

Only reason the hotel got a 4 star was because there were a lot of construction guys staying at the hotel and for breakfast they were drinking beer and took whatever was on the breakfast bar over what they ate with them for lunch. Hotel Management should have handled the situation. Overall hotel is good, in convenient location for me and I have booked reservations for a future stay.
