The staff is awesome and accommodating to my requests such as early check ins/late checkouts. I'd recommend this location to anyone.. just stinks I'm working during most of my time there. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by EXTREMELY POOR INTERNET SERVICE We have been staying at this hotel for a few years now without incident but we were not happy with this particular experience for a few reasons. First, my mother had called to speak with someone about reserving the party room a few weeks prior to our stay. Her phone call was never returned. We had used this room in the past for my grandmother's 100th bday and wanted to use it again for her 102nd bday. We ended up using a room at another hotel. Second, when we entered our suite, it was extremely warm - not a problem - just turn on AC right? Wrong - turned it on and long story short, took a long time to cool it down and we had to keep the temperature set at 65 in order to keep the room comfortable. Third, the internet service is TERRIBLE!!!! If we got on for 5 minutes during our entire stay that's alot. Complained to the desk and they kept telling us they were rebooting but it never helped. My husband had business to conduct and couldnt due to this annoyance. Fourth, was told I could not use my points for a suite. I dont understand this at all. September 19, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a reliable hotel for a business minded traveller I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and this will be my last visit. My client is located some 18 miles away, but I chose to stay with IHG, I will not be doing so in this location purely because of the hotel's regrettably poor internet connectivity. After staying multiple times, I tried to connect on a phone, a tablet and two laptops. There is no consistency in remaining connected to the wireless, and the Internet is atrocious. I was not able to work at all from this location so spent the week without internet after hours. The staff were not interested in hearing about this and in my subsequent stay they had not resolved the issue some two weeks later. For 150 dollars a night I could have been staying in a much nicer surrounding with far more reliable features. The room was of a good size and war comfortable though. Staff spend most of their evenings fraternizing with what appear to be friends or guests they have befriended. Didn't get offered any complimentary snacks etc on arrival as a gold member. Would not recommend this hotel. September 12, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good place to stay very nice people and 24 hour fitness center. The 24 hour coffee and tea was great. The breakfast provided was very good. The only negative is the remote TV. It was slow. Not a very important detail. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I would stay in this hotel again, if I ever are in the area again. September 9, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Things could of been better. I had a problem with the faucet leaking when I checked in. I went down and told sone one about it. Being late that evening. I told them they could fix it the next day. I came home that afternoon. And it was still leaking. Not happy with the way this place is run. So I spent two nights there. Listening to a leaky faucet. Not even compensation for the inconveinance. Sad to say. It is the little things that go a long way. Not planning on staying there again. v/r SFC Johnston U.S. army September 6, 2013

In the morning when I mentioned the internet does not work the front desk seemed to know nothing about wi-fi and if it was offered at the hotel. lotrs of banging at night too. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Base for attending a reunion I used the Holiday Inn Express as a base while I attended a reunion of Operetta performers and production people on the Cape. Because of the convenience of the hotels location, I was able to check in, clean up and dress for the reunion, attended the reunion, and then return to the hotel for a deep sleep. I was then able to begin my return trip refreshed both by the reunion and by the hotel stay. August 2, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by room condition like a cheap motel My expectations for a pleasant stay at this Holiday Inn express was high as i checked in.The lobby was neat and clean the staff was proffesional and helpfull.When i got to my room it was an alltogether different experiance.The wallpaper was pealing in multiple areas and was stained .I found large holes in the curtians.The bathroom was dingy and outdated not to mention that the toilet was clogged.I was there to attend a wake and funeral the next morning so i endured not wanting to attempt to relocate.The most disturbing problem was when i returned to my room after the wake to find that my room door had not locked as i left,it turns out that you must slam the door for it to latch.I found nothing missing but yet did not feel secure.I checked out early the next morning vowing to never return to a Holiday Inn again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not what we expected I brought a girls softball team to this hotel,reserving twelve rooms. Kate at the front desk was very helpful, thou getting to talk to someone for a group rate took many phone calls over the coarse of a week.Then, multiple families had to call to make reservations a second time, as the first were lost, or never entered, or whatever.Upon arriving at the hotel at 4:30 (check in starts at 3)we were told that rooms weren't ready, and it would be at least 30 minutes.Breakfast is supposed to start at 7 AM. At 6:55, an elderly patron asked the woman setting up when the hot items would be coming out (as the other items were all out). The employee, rudely told him to "relax, breakfast starts at 7". Our room was a King with a pull out sofa. When we opened it for my daughter and another girl to sleep on, we were greeted by dirty bed linens. Overall, the experience with this establishment and it's staff was extremely disappointing. We plan on being in the area for tournaments again next year, and I am positive that this hotel has been crossed off of everyone's list. July 26, 2013

The room we received was HUGE compared to other HI rooms we have stayed in and we loved it! I liked the room and the hotel was very beautiful. Unfortunately, I have to say that the cleaning staff needs to do a better job. I always try to stay at HI because they have nice staff, great breakfast and clean rooms. Our bathroom was not up to par this time around. The bathtub was not cleaned at all -it looked just rinsed-there was hair ALL OVER and on the faucet. It was not noticable if you want a shower BUT I look forward to a bath at hotels becuase all we have is a shower at home and I had to clean the shower. As a result, I used one of the washcloths to wash the tub and one for myself which left none for the others in the room. I called the front desk and she offered to come up and clean it but I knew she was the only one down there so I told her I would clean it myself. Next I had to go down to get more towels since they only left 3 towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. There was only one part of a roll of TP and the other one was empty. I feel bad for the people at the front desk who have to take the blunt of upset patrons when it is actually the fault of the cleaning persons. Signs all over the place said "rate us a 10" but I am afraid the 10 goes to the front desk who did their best to make everyone happy. July 16, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best stay The room temp was 47 degrees when we got there. The next day maintenance changed the thermostat, but still there were issues that the temperature was off. Our room was not cleaned the 1st morning. The 2nd morning no toilet paper was left when they cleaned. I went to the front desk for toilet paper once and for towels once and there was no one there and no one came as I waited 10 minutes. Not the best Holiday Inn Express service at this hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by just ok The rooms we had were not kept up to the standard we are used to seeing in the H I line.. we only use this chain for all my husbands business travel for years and we weren't too impressed.. Especially for the price... rooms looked nice upon walking in, however the bathrooms were not up to standard.. Tub had cracks, tiles missing, smelly shower curtain.. like it needed to be washed... Over all the experience was ok.. but attention to details is what we expect July 5, 2013

The computer system frozen as we were checking in but the front desk got us checked in & let us get to our room as soon as possible without waiting for the computer. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by SHOWER Everything was fine but the shower was cold. The only thing i care about when staying at a hotel is a HOT SHOWER. you get maybe 2 minutes of hot water if you are lucky. I stayed two nights and both nights the shower was cold. One thing i like about holiday inn is the express envelope under the door in the morning. This is the only one i have stayed at that did not give me that. Though the express checkout is not a deal breaker i probably will try and stay elsewhere in the future due to cold showers. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Style, but no substance First, the good: this is one of the prettiest Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed in, and I've been in many all over the country. The room and hotel were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was uniformly polite and helpful. Now, on to the bad... The breakfast was the worst I've encountered yet in a Holiday Inn. The selection was very limited (no pancakes, one fewer hot entree than any other breakfast I've seen offered, and no hard-boiled eggs), and the omelets on our first day were burned. The hot water for the shower regularly cut out (based on the frequency and duration, I think it happened every time someone in the hotel flushed a toilet). We also weren't given an express checkout slip, which as Priority Club members we have gotten at every other Holiday Inn Express, and when we asked about it the front desk didn't seem to know what we were talking about. With a few improvements to the breakfast and, more importantly, the plumbing, this could be a great hotel. But until I'm sure these problems are fixed I won't be staying here again. May 10, 2013
