Pretty good stay and convenient location right off I175. However, I was a bit disappointed they do not have a fitness center. You have to go off site. Fitness centers are pretty standard at most HI Expresses.

We did not get any sleep because of a squealing air conditioning unit, staff was great, and handled well

This is the worst Holiday Inn Express that I have ever stayed at. It started with a 20 minute wait to get checked in at midnight (the guest in front of us was getting 3 rooms & there was only one worker to check people in - understandable with it being midnight). After we checked in & got settled in our room, we went out to get a few more items from our vehicle. The front desk clerk was sitting right outside the door smoking with her music cranked up. She said, "Sorry, I need to do this to stay awake - my shift doesn't get over until 7AM".
Our room did not have a fridge or microwave & I thought those were standard in most HI Express Hotels. The breakfast selection was very good with many hot breakfast items. Upon leaving, we found the entire front desk staff, and a few of the housekeeping crew smoking near the front door. The manager, who was out there with them, told them to get further from the door - they begrudgingly complied. As I was loading our vehicle, I spotted a few more of the housekeeping crew smoking outside the side door.
I am not an anti-smoking activist, but I find it very unprofessional for the entire front desk to take a smoke break at the same time. I believe the GM should make a few surprise visits to this branch & check out the atmosphere.
