Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wedding Night Blunder I had the Jacuzzi Suite booked for my wedding night. They called the morning of my wedding and said that room was no longer available. They gave me a regular room at half the rate of the jacuzzi room. I was too rushed and concered with other things at the time to argue. The room we were stuck with was OK. It was just a regular king room.. After the fact, when I had a chance to look into it, the rate we were billed was only marginally discounted from that room's regular rate. Still debating whether I should call and ask for a refund :-/ Other than my room booking issues, the hotel seemed nice. August 8, 2014

The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Set in a nice setting and near quite a few good restaurants, gyms, and a large movie theater. There is also a very nice trail network for walking or running across from the hotel. I would stay here again. August 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIane and her amazing staff I brought my family to the Holiday Inn Brandermill for my son's wedding 8/1-3/2014. The hotel was sold out and our room block was small but Diane went out of her way to provide excellent service to us. I was the MOG and she offered to leave the hotel and get anything I needed that I had forgotten. Her commitment to customer service is reflected in her staff. From the front desk, to housekeeping, to night audit the staff made us feel comfortable and special. I would definitely recommend this hotel !! I hope to be back soon!! August 7, 2014

Breakfast was pretty good and varied, and the coffee was pretty good too! Also everything that you need, restaurants, stores etc are very close.I also liked how they are employing special needs young adults to help with the cleaning staff. Hats off to the management! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Room and Very Attentive Staff I stayed for business for 2 nights. My room was very easy to work from as was the internet service in the common areas. My room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and pillows were as well. The staff was attentive and professional and very helpful. Breakfast was provided and although a basic breakfast there were hot items as well as pastries, bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit. It's nice to be able to grab something without having to leave the hotel before you head out for your work day. I would highly recommend staying at this Holiday Inn Express. A great staff, a wonderful value, modern amenities and clean well appointed rooms. July 13, 2014

The person who checked me in was a new experience,a very enthusiastic young lady named Rachael,I think. Very good at her job. BE BACK SOON!!!! Felt well rested and appreciated the comfort of this final night in a hotel. Staff allowed me to store my bicycle in my room to avoid threatened severe rain storms. The rooms are nice, the TVs are clean and nice, the bed is comfortable (although the pillows are a bit lumpy) and the bathroom is new. The free breakfast is really expansive, not just continental. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Slowest Elevator The elevator was very slow and I know that being a small hotel that adding another elevator is not necessary, but having engineering to speed up the one that you already have would help guest out a lot and stop the long wait times. Weather I check in or out I always have to use the stairway and carry all of my luggage up and down the stairs because the elevator is just too slow. I would also like some firm pillows to sleep on and not all soft ones. Even though two of my pillows said firm, they were all the same. I did call the front desk and asked for a firm pillow and they gave me anther pillow that said firm on it, but it also was soft. I think your housekeepers are putting any pillow in any pillow case. The clean up crew on my floor seemed to be learning handicapped folk of various types. Was so moved by their attitudes & dedication. Was greeted with great enthusiasm by a couple of them. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not get rooms promised + Dirty bathroom One hour before checking in, I called to confirm our rooms were available and as requested. (Needed connecting kings with one a handicapped walk in shower and was told they were ready and we would definitely have a walk in shower.). Unfortunately, we were told wrongly and neither room was a king and the handicapped room had a tub, not walk-in shower. We were given a shower seat but my handicapped person was unable to step over the tub so had to be given sponge bath for two days. Additionally, my room had previous guests' hairs in tub and around toilet. And the second day, there was no in-room coffee as it had not been replenished. Hotel was under staffed and staff seemed to be poorly trained and overwhelmed. No manager was available. June 4, 2014

Housekeeping did not do an acceptable job in our room during our stay. Breakfast foods ran out and were not replenished and the pancake maker was broken during our stay with no alternative choice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hate to be redundant This stay,like the others in past year,was beyond reproach or criticism.Ms.Reilly greeted me like an old friend instead of an imposition on her busy schedule. I was able to meet the very fine general mgr. She was very affable and welcoming also. I later noticed her interacting with staff on some issue and was able to draw conclusions on her management style and methods quickly. She is sharp. Will be back soon!! May 11, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Choice for Families We had booked a standard room for 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival we were told that the hotel was fully booked due to a sports tournament and they only had a single king room available. After some complaining and producing our reservation paperwork, they were able to find us a handicap accessible room with 2 beds. We later discovered that the hotel didn't even fill up until the next day. The hotel is also difficult to find as it is set back off the main road. We found it confusing to find. I would not recommend this hotel to families who need more than one bed in a room. We will not be returning with our family until the hotel changes it's room reservation policies. February 26, 2014
