I want to mention the breakfast lady, Mary, who did an excellent job and went well above the call of duty.
We were there 9 days/nights with four bands that performed at the Choctaw Oktoberfest and so always came in late in the evening/night.
The next morning it was often hard to make it to breakfast at the right time but Mary never complained about us walking in, 5 minutes before she was to close down.
She always ensured we had something to eat and did it with a smile!
I hope that when we get back there, next year, for this festival she will be working there still.
She was a delight to have around!

Front desk staff and breakfast staff were really great. TV took forever to change channels. Careful they switch the internet password periodically if you are there for more than a day or two. Pool was nice but hot tub was cold.

It is easy to reserve - accommodations are pleasant and reliable - one gets a good value and the hotel is very nice.
It is comfortable to know the hotel you are visiting.

The Holiday Inn Express was easily accessible from I-40. It was very resonably priced and sparkling clean.

I stayed in the hotel property for 19 nights. It is a king bed suite with jacuzzi. I was really excited about the stay, but to a disappointing experience as for some reason the ventilation is really bad.
Smoke rushed in through one of the vents once i switched off the light at night (the vent and light shared the same switch), so i have hard time sleeping at night. I complained to the front desk manager and she did an ozone air purifying system, but the same problem occurred again the next day.
I wish something would have been done on the ventilation system for future customer satisfactions.

The only problem I had was at check out. Holiday Inn had already deducted the two room I reserved in advance prior to my arriving. The bill charge at check out charged me again. I brought it to their attention and it was corrected. I paid for two rooms and the gentlemen with me got his own room bill. Major confusion on your part. If you are going to charge me in advance for a room, please let me know at time of booking and I can decide if want to do this at Holiday Inn.
