Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay We had a really nice stay at the hotel, we dropped our freshman off at Boston College and stayed in area for a few days, visited Cape Cod, did the Freedom Trail in city, Milford was great for shopping. The hotel was convenient for travel, close enough to Boston and the Cape. Hotel was recently upgraded, looked very well, we really enjoyed our breakfast, staff very friendly. Thumbs up !! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place, let down by some staff members The hotel has been recently renovated so we were expecting good things. We arrived after the 3:00pm check in time, we were told they would have to check to see if our room was ready. The lady went into the back office and did not return for 5 mins. Meanwhile, our friends who arrived 5 mins later than us and had booked their room later than us, were checked in and now waiting for us, in the time we were waiting for this woman to return. After she returned she told us we may need to sit for a few minutes whilst they made sure the room was ready. I told her we were in a rush to get ready for a wedding and she developed an attitude with me. She then gave us a key to a 1st floor disabled access room, even though we had booked and pre-paid for a King room months in advance. We went straight back to the front desk and this staff member looked bemused as to why we were not happy with our room. Within a few minutes she had us on the 3rd floor in a King room. Why couldn't this have happened in the first few minutes of arrival instead of 20 minutes after we walked in the door? The room was nice and spacious. What we expected of a recently renovated hotel. My only disappointment was the toilet had not been cleaned thoroughly, with urine stains all over the rim of the toilet bowl. Overall, this stay was average, even though it could have been very good. This hotel was let down by its one member of staff at check in and another member of staff who had not fully cleaned the bathroom. Such a shame that a newly renovated hotel is let down by some of its employees poor attitudes to what they do. September 3, 2014

The young lady that checked me in had excellent customer service skills and seemed very sincere -I will stay there again based on this alone. Elsewhere customer service has taken a total nose-dive (like the kid at the drive-thru who replied "yep" when I said thank you for my meal, or the staff at the computer store that ignored me when I went in to buy a new laptop - ended up buying at a different store) so it's refreshing to be treated well. And I can't say enough about the comfort of the bed. I want one for my home! September 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Price and awesome stay! I can't say anything negative about my stay about the Holiday Inn Express in Milford, MA except that there was no ketchup for my eggs! The hotel was beautiful and clean. I booked it mainly because of the pool and hot tub, which was very nice! The location and price was a plus as well. The breakfast selection was great and both my daughter and I enjoyed trying different items each day. The updated rooms were comfortable and I loved the choice of firm or soft pillows! The staff was very helpful and even printed out directions to the T for us to travel to Boston. I would definitely stay there again and hope the other Holiday Inn Express Hotels are as great as this one! September 2, 2014

Found that the room had been recently used by a smoker even though it was a no smoking room. Staff offered to change room for our group and were helpful in getting set up. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Staff needs a course how to handle guests The hotel itself is a nice place. Rooms are comfortable with good beds. The staff appears very unmotivated. They do what they have to do, nothing more. Housekeeping is terrible. We stayed four nights; bad cleaning, pillow on the floor, sunflowerpitts in the bathroom although we did not eat them (!), one day not enough big towels, other day not enough small towels and so on and so on. Furthermore the houskeeping does not speak one word of English. For the money I paid I expect a good hotel. This looked like a cheap motel. August 26, 2014

This Holiday Inn Express offered us everything we were looking for and was probably the best stay we've had in the last 12 months. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel/Great prices Stayed here for a yearly trip that we take with friends, this hotel is convientely located on I-495 ( only about 10 minutes from I-90 interchange. The price was great and the hotel was fresh and clean looking. Didn't eat breakfast the morning that we stayed but saw the layout and it wsa looking good as always with Holiday Inn. The newly renovated hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near Southwick's Zoo. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. Our room had a king bed plus sleeper sofa and mini fridge. The bed and room were comfortable and pleasant. We have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express locations and would likely select another. Upon arrival, the receptionist asked me for my credit card before she asked my name! (Maybe it was just a routine, she got out of order). Many of us were there for a family wedding, and the hotel did a good job trying to group our rooms together. The front desk was really helpful on my first night when I was trying to figure out how to get to downtown Boston, guiding me through train options and maps. I liked the modern combined lobby / lounge / breakfast area that we could use to relax any time of day. And the rooms were very clean and comfortable too. Thank you! August 14, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by my upstairs neighbor was clunking around all night Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Giant TV, all low def programming. THIN walls and ceilings so I could hear my upstairs neighbor clunking around all night, and my next door neighbor sliding hangers around in their closet at 5 AM. To their credit, staff was very friendly Was not pleased to come back to the hotel at 10:30 PM and not be able to get into the hotel or my room, until going to the front desk and having them have to "fix" my key card. I think someone accidentally checked me out of the hotel and deactivated it. August 10, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel and staff - poor noise quality I stayed here the weekend of my wedding (as well as most of my guests) and the staff graciously upgraded me to a suite. However, this suite was right across from the elevator! All I heard was traffic and noise from people calling and entering/exiting the elevator. The night I stayed another wedding party decided to descend on the floor around midnight with the noise level of a club. Holding the elevator, screaming at each other down the hall. When they entered their rooms, they were on either side of me and the walls were too thin to muffle the sound. I'm pleased that the front desk and security responded quickly and with empathy to what was a total freak out on my part - imagine the anxiety of not getting sleep the night before your wedding because of a party next door! However, I am truly surprised that I was put in a room right across the elevator and in between two rooms the same party was occupying. My recommendation would be to double check where your room is if you require a good night's sleep. August 8, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by very disappointing stay When I checked in on Friday afternoon there was a very long wait at check-in. I had to wait about 20 minutes. Only 1 person was working the desk. About 12 people were on line. Half of them had to get on line because their keys wouldn't work. Then when the phone rings 3 different times the person working the desk had to answer. It was like 3 people cut the line. Sunday's morning breakfast was horrible. Breakfast started at 7am. At 7:15 there were no more eggs left. I asked the man that was working the breakfast if more eggs were coming out. He said that they would be out in a minute. Fifteen minutes later another person asked if there were more eggs. He again said any minute. Ten minutes after that we had to leave for my daughter's softball tournament. No eggs in over 30 minutes. Really. I am a platinum rewards member and have stayed with Holiday Inn for years. I will never come back to this location. Very disappointed. BRIAN D. August 6, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Extremely loud. They new that big groups were coming and they had a security guard but the walls are thin and there were young people making lots of noise all night. They were yelling in the hallways. Staff was nice. They tried. Overall experience was not good August 6, 2014
