Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable bed but not value for money Although the bed was comfortable and overall it is not a bad place to stay, my frustration came from the lack of amenities compared to the price. As a frequent traveller on business I have stayed in nicer hotels for far less and feel like I have gotten much more for my money. By amenities I specifically mean a gym (however small) and something as simple as room service. To have to go down to reception, ask for an iron and an ironing board, and then carry it up to the room yourself is a little embarrassing. Having to order food and carry it to the room yourself is a bit annoying more than anything. Negatives aside, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, you won't be needing for anything and the staff were great. Service with a smile cannot be underestimated and for that this hotels stands up. October 27, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant and Quiet Room Stayed on business, where I was late finishing and an early start next day. Peace and quiet were essential and a quiet, comfortable room.was provided. Thank you. Food was ok, with an adequate menu and good friendly service. Breakfast choice was a limited, so if you are a fan of cooked breakfast, it can only be sausage scrambled egg and beans. Hmmm. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good overnight stay Stayed for one night. Good location, and surprisingly quiet. Staff at check in were pleasant. Room was clean and child had a proper sprung fold down bed. Toilet had a bit of a drain smell about it. Air con unit made quite a bit of noise, even when turned off as something kept flapping and I didn't find the heating very efficient. Breakfast was nice, good choice, tasty sausages and friendly and efficient staff. October 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good nights sleep and looked after well. This was my second stay here. When I first chose the hotel it was because of the location between Bletchley Park and the MK centre. It's easy to get to in a lovely location and the staff are really friendly and helpful, so when my partner and I decided to return to Bletchley Park this hotel was the obvious choice. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Value for money stay We have stayed at this hotel several times and would generally recommend it. The staff are always very polite and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast gets you off to a good start to the day. On this occasion we were disappointed because on our second night we were disturbed and awakened by a group of young people between 10.00pm and 4.00am. I fail to understand why hotel groups accept reservations by such groups. It seems to me that it is obvious they are going to make a noise and be inconsiderate of others. They are likely to be one-off clients. My wife and I will reduce the number of nights we stay in the future. This will represent an overall loss to the hotel. I think this is a pity considering it is otherwise a great value hotel. Ron D October 23, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cold rooms and noisy doors I found that doors were noisy in this hotel. After complaining I was moved from a room next to the stairwell to another part of the hotel because the door banged when closed on the auto closure. The new room was nice but now I was next to the maids service door, and from 06:30 in the morning banged every 3 minutes. Seems like an exaggeration but I was timing it. Every door in this hotel bangs when closed. The heating system is an air conditioning unit which takes 15 minutes to go into heat cycle, so if your room is cold it will blow cold for 15 minutes and then start to warm up. The plus side is the wireless internet access in the room which is free. October 21, 2014
