Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business Trip Spent the week at the Holiday Inn Express Milwaukee. All was good with the hotel except for the overwhelming fragrance in common areas. The carpet is in need of replacement and smells like heavy doses of carpet fresh is put down. Other than that, Stay was good. Was able to get sleep in a dark room. A little noisy in hall and you could hear the people staying above. me. November 18, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Overall Stay Great stay overall... Billing snafu upon arrival, took a bit of time to rectify but got it done eventually. Hide-a-bed springs were broken in our room - but it was our own fault that we didn't bring it to the management's attention (of course, we didn't notice until we returned to our room at 1:30am and by then, we didn't care and just wanted to rest). Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great manager's cocktail reception Everything was great except for the time it took to check in. Unfortuately their was a gentlemen in front of me that had 3 reservations. I do not know what all the problems were with checking in, but I waited 20 minutes to get check in that took less than 2 minutes. At times when difficulties occur at the front desk, then the on staff manager needs to stand up and assist or at least someone else. There was no attempt to get any additional help as the check in line continued to stack up waiting on one customer to get checked in. Plus there was no recognition of my status. This was the first time that that occurred. October 28, 2014
