I have stayed at many Holiday Inn's and Holiday Inn Express' over the year and have to say that by far this one is one of the best that I've stayed at. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable Stay We spent two nights in room 211 during our daughter's wedding in Mineral Wells in March 2013. We rented two other rooms for our adult children. Several of our friends also stayed at the hotel for one night. Everyone enjoyed their stay. We had a spacious king size room with a comfortable bed, refrigerator and microwave. Since we are priority club members, we were given a coupon for a free water and a little cup with snacks in it. The hotel provides free newspapers for all guests. We did have a small inconvenience at check in. Our room keys did not work, so I had to go back to the desk. Then we we opened the room, it had two Queen beds. So I had to make yet another trip to the desk to get switched to our eventual King room. The staff was friendly and the person who checked us in was apologetic. The Continental breakfast was standard fare. The common areas were well maintained and enjoyable. Our large group had a nice time visiting in the breakfast area the morning after the wedding. My check in was great as I asked for specific things and the hotel went out of their way to get me into the room that I wanted. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite.
