I travel to Minneapolis several times per year for health care, Thankfully, I found a hotel such as the Holiday Inn Express, the staff has come to know me and without fail treat me as a special guest. For that I am thankful. The location is ideal and the discount for medical appointments is very welcomed. I always look forward to arrival at such a friendly place. Thank you.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by life is short Clean, convenient location but plain.
Close and convenient to the Convention Center. Loved being such a short walk in the winter.
Was a little disappointed the room did not have a microwave or a refrigerator, other than that it had all the necessary things, just not "fancy", but I didn't need fancy.

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. It was a good value for a king sized Jacuzzi room. It was close to downtown Minneapolis so we could go out on the town for a couple hours and take a cab. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only down fall is that you either have to pay $15 to park in the hotel parking lot or pay $13 to pay in the parking lot across the street. There is no free parking anywhere.

We arrived early, and were able to check in without incident. (many motels won't allow it). Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and the breakfast buffet was full of choices.
My only negative to report was having to pay for parking. I've already paid for the room, at most hotels parking is free. But being in downtown I suppose this is common?
Something I'd like to see industry wide is a walk through of each room type. This would greatly aid in my (and others) search on the internet for a room. Very few hotels do this. IHG could set the bar up a notch by doing so. It's a relatively inexpensive thing to do. Just be sure to post the disclaimer "this is only a representative of the room type-your room may very according to hotel", I'm sure the lawyers can come up with better wording.
I will likely stay here again in the future.

Front desk folks are very helpful. I called ahead about parking and they gave me options. The room was very well heated. No issues with noise, but I was on the top / fifth floor. Would like to see gluten free breakfast options.

My wife Fran and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown Minneapolis near the holidays and frankly, we were super impressed with the cleanliness of the room, of their superior Bath and Body amenities, and the attention of the staff at the desk, and in the lobby area to greet visitors and in the breakfast area. Great king size bed and comfortable temperatures also enhanced our stay. Overall, the best Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed at to date.
