Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Best option to stay when you go to McAllen Great hotel location. If you go to McAllen for shopping, this is the option to stay. There is a Wal Mart at on side and the hotel is surrounded by many stores and restaurants like HEB, Kohls, McDonalds, etc. It is almost over the express way that takes you to La Plaza Mall and the rest of shopping plazas and stores. It is also close to the Anzalduas Bridge so you save time to go back to Mexico. Hotel cleanliness is excelent. Pool and warm pool are very relaxing at night as there is no noise around. Breakfast was plenty and good of options to pick. Pancakes are great. Our trip purpose was to go for shopping and we couldn´t pick a better hotel than this. It was so pleasant that we didn´t want to leave !! April 17, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Failure to provide complimentary airport shuttle My spouse & I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Mission recently. We booked here because of of the advertised complimentary shuttle.When we called from the airport for the shuttle pickup the hotel employee said they would send a taxi. No mention was made that we would be required to pay for it. To our shock & dismay the hotel refused to pay the driver. After pointing out that we had requested the shuttle that was supposed to be included they still refused to pay. We payed the driver $26.50 & tip so he wouldn't go empty handed. Needless to say the experience spoiled our visit. We can not recommend this hotel. March 31, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good place to relax but not to work (internet service was really bad) Clean place and good service. Unfortunately the internet service was so slow I could not work at night. I do not recommend this place if you work at night with emails and need the usage of internet. For everything else, it is a good place. January 15, 2013

When I arrive at the hotel, their gave me the suite room because of the priority club rewards and they add a souvenir, then I stay in one of the best rooms, and the atmosphere was quite and I did rest very pleasant, Thanks!
