After dinner I noticed the ac unit omitting a bad odor. I called the front office and they were reluctant to switch my room.

Mission was our last stop on the way home from our vacation, and Holiday Inn was the perfect resting spot! We had such a bad experiences with other hotel stays that we just couldn't believe the friendly customer service, amenities, and cleanliness of this hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we tried to get an extra night, but they were completely booked and we could completely understand why. =) From now on, we will ONLY stay at Holiday Inns!!! Kuddos for making a family feel at home!

I went there on business and needed to use Internet to properly do my job. But the Internet was so slow that I couldn't properly load pages or transmit data. I would imagine that The Holiday Inn would have a Internet system that can keep up with the demands of its occupants. Other than that, the staff was great and room was perfect.

When I checked in and went to my room, first my key did not work and I had to go get another one from the front desk. When I went into my room it was hot. The thermostat was set at 74 so I lowered it to 65. I then went to a dinner appointment. When I returned to my room it was still warm. When I tried calling the front desk, I discovered that the phone in the room did not work. I called using my cell phone. The desk clerk came to my room and was not able to get the A/C to work properly.
I was given a different room. The A/C did work. When I tried to use the internet, I was unable to get service. I ended up using my MIFi to get my work done.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Mission a few days ago. Our stay was made perfect by the genuine caring attitude of the front desk clerk, Cynthia. She was always smiling and ready to assist us in any way. Breakfast was great and the maid service was top notch. We will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending this location to everyone we know.

betty and her staff are very warm and friendly. I always enjoy staying at the mission holiday inn simply to receive there warm greetings. it would be nice if some of the other places I've stayed at had the same level of customer service commitment.

The location is good, the hotel is clean, but as far as service from the front desk, no service at all.
When I checked in it was like if I was getting food at a drive thru fast food restaurant.

oh, yes, here is the key , I wrote the code for the wifi in the cover of the key.
That was it, no recognition for membership, no information about breakfast times, no quetion if you need something else. nothing

The staff and service here are great. I stay here 6-7 nights a year and always come back. The beds and rooms are comfortable and quiet. It's a convenient location and easy access. It's a great value with good service!

Great hotel location.
If you go to McAllen for shopping, this is the option to stay.
There is a Wal Mart at on side and the hotel is surrounded by many stores and restaurants like HEB, Kohls, McDonalds, etc.
It is almost over the express way that takes you to La Plaza Mall and the rest of shopping plazas and stores.
It is also close to the Anzalduas Bridge so you save time to go back to Mexico.
Hotel cleanliness is excelent.
Pool and warm pool are very relaxing at night as there is no noise around.
Breakfast was plenty and good of options to pick. Pancakes are great.
Our trip purpose was to go for shopping and we couldn´t pick a better hotel than this. It was so pleasant that we didn´t want to leave !!

My spouse & I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Mission recently. We booked here because of of the advertised complimentary shuttle.When we called from the airport for the shuttle pickup the hotel employee said they would send a taxi. No mention was made that we would be required to pay for it. To our shock & dismay the hotel refused to pay the driver. After pointing out that we had requested the shuttle that was supposed to be included they still refused to pay. We payed the driver $26.50 & tip so he wouldn't go empty handed. Needless to say the experience spoiled our visit. We can not recommend this hotel.

Clean place and good service. Unfortunately the internet service was so slow I could not work at night. I do not recommend this place if you work at night with emails and need the usage of internet.
For everything else, it is a good place.

When I arrive at the hotel, their gave me the suite room because of the priority club rewards and they add a souvenir, then I stay in one of the best rooms, and the atmosphere was quite and I did rest very pleasant,
