Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What I have come to expect from HIE. This hotel is in excellent condition and is close to shopping and the airport which is what we needed this trip. Overall we love this chain and use it somewhat regularly depending on price. The only room I see for improvement is the breakfast. I am hoping they move to more healthy choices instead of things like biscuits and gravy. October 19, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Way Up North Driving from Dallas to Orcas Island, Washington was a very long trip. After fourteen hours behind the wheel on the second leg of the journey, I not only needed a quiet, safe place to sleep, but a shower and a decent meal. Fortunately my husband called ahead and got me a room at this location. The room was clean and attractive. It was also one of the quietest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, which was surprising since it was right off the freeway. It came with a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was very comfortable and came with both firm and soft pillows which was greatly appreciated. The woman at the front desk gave me a booklet from a catering service that picked up meals from area restaurants and delivered them right to my door. The price for their service was very reasonable, the choices of restaurants was huge and they included many different types of cuisine. This was only the second time I've stayed at an Express, and I can assure you it won't be the last. October 14, 2014

The comparison to the other hotel I used during the last stay was night-and-day. I especially enjoyed the functional layout so amenable to busy business travels, and a room designed for efficiency and yet a down-home feel. October 13, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great as usual with one caveat I stay here a lot but ended up with a $50 charge for having pets. I spoke with Harrison who was extremely cordial and said it would be removed. I did not have pets which was odd but he said they probably had the wrong room. Still, it was an inconvenience but OK with me. I've been charged over $300 at other hotels for pets, smoking, etc. Which never happened and had to contact my credit card company so it was refreshing to have it handled immediately. Thanks IHG!
