Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed/pillow - service didn't earn return business. The reason for coming was to stay near the university for orientation. The only necessity: a comfortable bed and quiet room. The 4th floor offers the best sleep, but girls running the halls kept the floor awake past 11. The guest desk didn't act interested in securing my business for an extra day, so they won't be my top choice in the future. The price is beatable closer to campus - and the service was not welcoming. July 3, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Room Our stay was enjoyable, however when my grandson left one of his movies in the xbox, the staff did find it but it was going to cost $15.00 to have it mailed too me which I thought was excessive as the movie only cost $20.00, they should of offered to mail in a padded envelope. As with any plastic curtain material they tend to sour with mildew leaving that unpleasant odor. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect. June 25, 2014

Everything about this hotel was superior compared to the others I had stayed at in prior days. Would stay there again, friendly staff, nice clean room, exercise room even had cleaner for equipment! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Stay The room was nice and comfortable. I was not once welcomed as a Rewards Club member, which was surprising as I stay at HIE many times in a year. I did not have a microwave in the room, which was also surprising and a tad disappointing as I wanted to just get some groceries and eat in my room. The wifi was strong. Lots of new hotels, so lots of new restaurants and lots of retail shopping. Traffic at 5pm is pretty awful, but I would definitely target this area the next time we drive this route. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by yes, this is a top place to stay breakfast covers all bases, eggs, sausage gravy, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, coffee, milk, juice, fruit, i don't know what it didn't have...staff was very helpful and seemed to like their jobs..pool, game room for children, fitness room, washer and dryer room...fridge and microwave in room....after staying here i will look at HI express first in other cities...thanks for the 8 day stay, with no hitches...Ricky June 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Staff I always choose Holiday Inn Express when it is in the cities we travel to. I was so happy to find out there was one in Missoula. We were greeted right away upon arrival even though there were others before us. I apologize for not being able to remember any of the staffs' names. The staff at the Holiday Inn Express, Missoula go above and beyond to make sure their guests are well taken care of. For example, we needed a whole new set of towels midday. An employee walked up to our floor with us and got us a whole new set of towels. The staff in charge of the dining room keep the area super clean and well stocked. They are friendly, always said "good morning" when we arrived for breakfast, and seemed to be constantly making sure that whatever a guest may need was available. In fact, I commented to my husband that they are the best I've seen at any Holiday Inn Express. One night the power went out (lightning hit a transformer). The employee at the front desk offered flashlights if needed and kept guests updated on the situation. It was almost a non-event. The only reason I put average on sleep quality is because I don't sleep well anywhere. The beds are so comfortable, the pillows are very nice (choice of firm or soft), and the linens were fresh and clean. The rooms are well appointed. I would not hesitate to recommend the Holiday Inn Express, Missoula. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay that much better! June 16, 2014

We were especially pleased with the computer desk and high-speed internet connection. A free hot breakfast onsite meant we did not have to drive or walk elsewhere. Coffee available in room. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value with a Good Sleep We stayed in a King Suite room on our way through to Kalispel, MO. We were lucky to get a room because of May graduation was going on as well. The hotel staff was terrific, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was good. We had stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in Twin Falls the previous day. It was very good too. The Missoula HIExpress experience convinced us to stay at the HIExpress in Kalispel. It was equally as good. Go figure! Thanks International Hotels Group. May 19, 2014

They have family suites with a kids room that is perfect, something our daughters look forward to when we stay here. They also have a great pool and a game room on the main floor -- another great feature for those traveling with kids. Even if you're traveling alone or for business this is a great hotel -- very clean, great central location in Missoula. Highly recommended. May 9, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Average Beds were not very comfortable. The Holiday Inn Express in Kalispell's beds are way more comfy. If you use fitness facilities in hotels regularly you will find this hotels cardio equipment extremely outdated. On the plus side at least the dumbbells go to 50lbs and there is a fit ball. Pool and hot tub are nice. I had to ask for a vacuum as the room floor was littered with popcorn from the kids the night before but when they came to make up the room the next day they left the floor dirty and did not leave any extra towels even tho the towels were clearly needed. It's comforting to have predictable levels of room quality and customer service even when the repeat visit is in a different state! I appreciate the apparent standards set for this chain because it builds my confidence as a traveler. The one drawback to being on the front side and ground level room at this location, they allow trucks to take up 3-4 spaces and then the truck warms up for 20 minutes before leaving - and that was disruptive in the morning as well as inconvenient at night because parking wasn't sufficient. We were fortunate to obtain one of the last available rooms on a busy Saturday night. Unfortunately, that room happened to be on the first floor, near the pool, breakfast room, and exterior exit. The noise from the heavy exterior door constantly opening and banging shut, in addition to the conversation of people walking down the hall, made for a late night and an even earlier morning. I remember asking the check in clerk if this was a private and quiet hotel and asked if I could have a room in the more quiet part of the hotel. He assured me that it would be quiet. It was everything but quiet. I know it was out of his control (clerk). Parents allowed their children to run up and down the hotel halls and play ball. The ball continuously kept hitting my door. I tried to call down to the front desk several times and no answer. After an awful night of listening to the persons above me walk around, I got up the next morning and wanted some coffee. The only thing in the room, was decaf. I was very frustrated at this point, so I thought I would take a shower and head to Starbucks. Your not going to believe this.....the showerhead was broke. This stay could not have gotten any worse! I tried yet again to call down to the front desk, busy signal, again! I got dressed and left after complaining at the front desk, as nicely as I could. Poor guy, gave me some coffee, but my experience at this point, was not going to be fixed. They should put up quiet signs to help be courteous of other guests. I am a mom and I get it, but this was beyond unreasonable for noise and time. March 19, 2014
