My family and I were on a two-week road trip from Texas to Yellowstone National, and back again when we stayed in Moab. When we arrived late on a Wednesday night from Idaho on our way back to Texas, we were greeted with friendly service. We enjoyed the beautiful pool with waterfalls and fire that stayed open until 11 pm, which was a plus for our 9 year old eager to swim after being in the car.

Too expensive for what you get. Disappointed. Thought it would be more reasonable or the room would be larger considering the price.

New hotel, with great staff. Beds and pillows were comfortable, clean rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was only OK. Pool was clean and a great place to sit with a drink at night.

We loved our stay here! The room was spacious with a wonderful kitchen area. Our highlight was the awesome pool reflective of the area arches!! Moab altogether was a fantastic visit, everyone we encountered was happy and helpful! Thank you for helping make our vacation great!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tanyaflips Uncomfortable bed but clean room
Compared to other Holiday Inn express hotels we stayed in on our trip, I was a bit disappointed in the one we spent two days at in Moab. The bed was uncomfortable with a plastic cover over the mattress. I felt and heard it everytime I rolled over and felt like a little kid who hadn't been potty trained. We were in the basement and noticed staff members constantly taking smoke breaks out the back door, the stairs and hallways leading up to the main floor/lobby were filthy and hadn't been vacuumed for the duration of our stay. The pool was wonderful, we really enjoyed the waterfall and hot tub after long days of hiking, but the pool towels were too small to even wrap around a normal sized adults waist. They were more like hand towels. Breakfast was not kept heated so if you weren't lucky enough to catch a staff member putting fresh eggs or bacon out, you ate a cold meal. I have to say that I expected more, especially for the price of the hotel and for being rewards members.
Also, the exhaust fan in our bathroom didn't work.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by boba5069 Nice spot on the north side of town.
This is a convenient hotel for touring by car. Located north of town, the hotel is quiet at night and provide plenty of parking.
Scenic trails along the Colorado River are nearby, but don't expect to walk to restaurants. They are all in town. The breakfast area was crowed but seemed to serve everyone well.
The a/c worked well and the pool was popular with guests.
Stayed three nights and would choose this hotel again above any of the others I saw anywhere in town.

The pool was the best experience their. The flaming arch over the pool with the water fall, and a fire pit on the side to dry off.
Two spas. Best pool experience at a Holiday Inn express

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lpcooks Great stay at a great location
We just returned from a 10 night road trip and this hotel was our last hotel out of 6. It was by far the nicest property with the best pool and breakfast choices. It has a location close to Arches National park and sits nicely within the red rock landscape. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Moab.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mama Carol Awesome! Family Friendly after exploring Zion,Bryce and The Arches
What a gem of a find after three days of hiking in the beautiful Utah National Parks! I wearily walked in to the friendliest front desk staff ever! Greeted with hot cookies and big smiles! Hotel is beautiful! Rooms are spotless with great bedding. Pool is like something you'd see in an exclusive (expensive!) spa in Sedona...waterfall included!! Breakfast served in a nice, big room. Staff was outstanding. We really didn't want to leave, but the open road was calling. Will definately recommend and return! Didn't realize that Moab was such a beautiful vacation destination!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tone Ya Comforatable place to stay.
Nice employees, comfy beds, 2 jacuzzi's, and the pool with waterfall was great. I marked sleep quality as good not excellent only because we had one of the suites on the very bottom floor (marked basement in the elevator, but it's not really a basement) and we were very close to, and level with, one of the parking lots which made it a little too loud early in the morning. Nothing major. By the way, whatever the maids spray smells amazing!

Breakfast selection and quality could improve. I got sick from the Sauage Gravey. As result, missed 1 day of vacation due to being sick on stomach. Not sure if food poisoning but was horrible. Took 2 days to recoup.
Poor choice selection for my sister who is Gluten free.

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. There were more than one kind of pillow available which is always something I look for when traveling since my wife and I have different needs in that department. The pool was in excellent shape and the kids loved going through the waterfall. The breakfast had what you would expect and it was well maintained and fresh.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LinT Just average, especially considering price
I confess that I was ill during our stay and that may have flavored my feelings about the hotel. Here are my thoughts, in no particular order:
--Room view: parking lot. Perhaps that was superior to the pool view, which may have been on the noisy side.
--Beds were decidedly on the hard side for me and even for my husband who usually doesn't care
--The couch (room was a suite) was about as comfortable as a wooden bench
--Meat selections in breakfast room were rubbery
--Keys did not work on 2nd day; told we had not checked in
--Front desk staff member suggested we dine at a restaurant that was closed on Sundays, which was the day we were looking for a dinner spot
--Pool area towels were skimpy
--Because I was not feeling well, we came down to breakfast after the end time and the staff were so kind in allowing me to get a slice of toast and a banana from the kitchen. It doesn't sound like much but I sure appreciated it. Thank you, ladies.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SueinSalem A Great Place to Stay in Moab
We had a King Suite and it was excellent.
The sleeping area is separated from the living area by a room divider which makes it nicer. The table was large enough for two laptops. There was plenty of room to put suitcases. There were adequate plugs to use to recharge phones and camera batteries.
The bathroom was spacious and the towels were large and fluffy.
The bed was comfortable and there were soft and firm pillows. The cooling system worked well.
We needed a late check-out and the staff was very accommodating. Our tour ran later than expected and we actually got back after the time we had though but we were still able to take some time to change clothes and get our things out of the room.
The breakfast was very good with fruit, juice and hot food as well as the typical cereal, yogurt, bread and muffins.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Renae21 Great family hotel
We stayed at this hotel while enjoying a hiking adventure at Arches. We had five ladies in one room and were very happy with our stay. The bed were very comfortable and the hotel pool is delightful! The only thing I would say was lacking was the fact that there is no shuttle or bus service into Moab. The distance to town is a little to far to walk, especially in the summer heat. A shuttle running a few times a day would have been great. Other than that, excellent stay!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 4345 Arches and Canyonland Nat. Parks
The location of the hotel at the north end of Moab is exstreemly convenient for visits to Arches and Canyonland national parks as well the Colorado river scenic drive.
The selection of hot and cold items at the breakfast buffet was more than adequateand better than average.
The room was large enough and well maintained.
I would like to have seen a shaded area at the pool as
it was exstreemly hot and sunny in the late June afternoons.
Moab has a good selection of good value eating establishments and lots of scenic drives and hiking opportunities nearbye.

when checking in, we had six people in our reservation, we got to the room and we only had a king bed and a pull out. went back to the front desk and they were able to move us to another room with two beds and a pull out. thought this was originally what was booked, but they said no. They were great in changing it, so that was good. Also recommended places to eat, which we took advantage off, good recommendations. Good location right between downtown and the parks.

On the outskirts of Moab, the location of this hotel offers wonderful views! The pool is truly unique and a comfort after a long days travel. The rooms are comfortable and allow for a dark sleep in! The staff at the front desk is friendly and the breakfast is typical Holiday Inn Express fare.
