Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Stay In This Hotel We arrived around 7pm.people work there are rude and unfriendly. We had a reservation for two rooms for one night. AC did not work in one if the rooms. When we asked for repair or move to another room they said they cannot do that (without any reason). Rooms are very small, old, smelling bad and beds are very uncomfortable. We are flying back to US in two weeks via Frankfurt airport and will stay in another hotel at the airport. Stay away from this dumpy place and rude people. August 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Three holiday inns in frankfurt didn't know which one to call We stayed on points and booked because there is a " supposed" free shuttle to the airport and back. When we arrived at the airport we located the call board for hotels however, we weren't sure which holiday inn we were staying at. Of course we called the wrong one and had to call again. The shuttle driver was very informative giving us helpful information on the trains and shuttles and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, professional and helpful and remained calm as they were bombarded with a Chinese tour group that was very demanding. The staff recognized our platinum status and provided us with drinks and a member room. The breakfast was typical of all holiday inns. There are two restaurants located within a short walk of the hotel. One is an italian beer garden the other a German beer garden The food was decent. We booked the shuttle back to the airport so we could catch a train to the city center and the front desk charged us 10 Euros. A one time fee? We took the shuttle to the airport caught the train and three stops later we arrived at the main train station. The shuttle also picked us back up that evening, although we had a half an hour wait. We also booked the shuttle for 6am so we could catch our departure flight back to the states. The shuttle was prompt. A good hotel. August 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly cleaned room Sadly, my experience was what I would expect from a hostel. The hotel shuttle is 5 euro per person which,ost people are not aware of until they are already inside and read the sign. The driver was rude. The bathroom floor was dirty with some sort of body fluids from a prievious guest in the corner. The curtains were torn and coffee cup was broken with the other being chipped. Obviously this place has high turnover of guests. The restaurant recommended at the campground across the street had below average food. Overall it was a disappointing experience. I will not stay there next time I return to Frankfurt. August 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy access to the airport - staff was very friendly Staff friendlier than both the managers I ran across. Both the managers ( day time and night time) were stiff and not very friendly but other staff was very helpful. We left a few bags at the site which was huge benefit for us and added to the value of staying at Holiday Inn Express. Even the breakfast service staff was very friendly. Hotel was busy with tourist buses - but the staff make sure everyone was well attended to. Kids/family friendly -- good value for the money. August 10, 2014

My wife and I discovered this out of town(Frankfurt) hotel several years ago when we began leasing a car for vacation as opposed to to renting. We like the shuttle service available from FRA. This year we rented a car but were able to begin rental on our timeline which was after one relaxing day/night at IHG. We will be back again as this is now how we begin our German-based vacations these days. August 8, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel but poor service at front desk The hotel is close to the airort and works well to catch an early flight, There is no hotel restaurant but there is an Italian restaurant 200 meters away that is very good.The problem was that the woman at the desk at check-in was having a bad day. Asking any question was not a good idea. August 8, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking rooms We were put in a smoking room in the smoking floor. Our request of a non smoking room was dismissed because of non availability. No effort was shown to find a solution. The hotel has four floors and the fourth floor is for smokers. I think it is too much to have about 25% of the capacity for smokers. August 8, 2014
