When I arrived at the hotel to register I was told that I needed to indicate whether I would be spending the 2 nights as booked in the original reservation. I indicated that I may in fact cancel the second night, based on thr results of my son's hockey game that would be ending at 1930 in the evening. I was told that no, I needed to indicate now (~16:30) if I wanted to cancel the second night to receive a full refund for the second night,
I spend approx 50-60 nights a year in hotels as I travel for business across this country and into the US. I have never had a problem cancelling a room when necessary, and without penalty up until most times the next morning, but certainly not at 430 in the afternoon the day before.
I will never spend another night at this hotel, and If this is your policy chain wide, I will never spend another night, or hold another event at your hotels.

Staff was very uncooperative and unreasonable. They overbook their rooms so do not plan on staying in a certain type of room even when you book in advance.

Even though ther experience was great, there was floor-creeking noise from above level. Settled down during night time.

I can honestly say this was one of the more enjoyable stays we've had. Quite a few times a year a bunch of us get together for an overnight shopping/ girls night out trip around the maritimes and this was by far our nicest stay yet right from the time we booked in to the staff at the breakfast buffet. Thanks so much!

WE HAD A SUITE,ME AND 2 KIDS, IT WAS GOOD,A LITTLE OLD BUT EVERYTHING WORKED,,,BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME, WITH A GREAT VARIEY OF HOT AND COLD ITEMS,,,THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAD WAS THE GUY AT THE DESK PUT US OVER BY THE FAR END (WHERE THE DRIVEWAY WAS),WHICH WAS NO PROBLEM,BUT THE DOOR TO GO IN DIDN'T WORK ,I DID TELL THEM AT THE DESK IT DIDN'T WORK, SO I HOPE WHEN I COME BACK IN 3 WEEKS THAT DOOR WILL BE FIXED
