Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not for business The business center at this hotel has a 2003 version of Word on its computers. Furthermore neither of the USB ports on the computers worked. Without the help of the on duty manager, I would have accomplished nothing -- and even with her help I had a filed saved that I would not open on a computer with a 2013 version of Word. La taza del bano no estaba limpia y la tina de la regadera estaba tapada. Viajamos del sur al norte de USA y lo que queriamos era descansar del trayecto tan largo, pero ni eso pudimos hacer. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just What I Needed After a great but long day at Auburn and a night football game, I knew I needed a good night's sleep before driving home. Thankfully I had made a reservation. Arriving pretty late, there was a note at the entrance stating the Inn was full and no rooms were available. The desk clerk gave me a warm greeting and asked for the name on my reservation, quickly found it, thanked me for being an IHG Club member, and noted that complimentary beverages were in my room! The room was nicer than expected and I had a great sleep followed by a quite adequate breakfast. Then I was happily on my way, refreshed and wide awake for the otherwise rather long and boring drive home. October 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Relaxing Evening Facility is a bit older but the staff all went the extra mile to make it clean and comfortable. Richaurd at front desk and young lady maintaining breakfast Oct 6 were outstanding---helpful and polite. We had little phone and TV glitch which Richard remedied immediately. Wish there would had been a fast food rest closer by. My husband and I appreciated the cookies and coffee/tea service and the microwave and fridge. October 8, 2014

It was quiet, and the staff went above and beyond to help from the second I arrived to the moment I departed. The room was clean, but had peeling paint on the ceiling and the lock on the bathroom door did not work. I was also not able to connect to the internet. I requested help from the staff, but to no avail. The following morning I was told that I had been given the wrong pass code. Overall the stay was good though. September 30, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location for overnight stop while traveling. This HI Express location is in a good location when stopping overnight on travels through and west/south of Montgomery. The hotel is somewhat isolated, but is well maintained on the exterior and has been updated in the lobby and hallway areas since a previous stay two years ago. The room is as expected for the brand, everything was in place, clean and comfortable. We did request an extra set of washcloths/towels as there were only two of each in the room. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay, Friendly Staff, Coming Back !!!! I had a fabulous stay at the Holiday Inn Express Montgomery on Troy Highway. Everything was fantastic - clean room, friendly service, delicious breakfast, and the staff went above and beyond. I was just passing through this area and needed a break from driving - I picked the perfect spot. I travel for a living and will definitely be stopping here again. Thanks for a great stay !!! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This experience wasn't as good as before We stay here every year on our way down to the beach. Normally, we are treated very well by staff from the front desk to the housekeepers. This year, we seemed to come at a bad time. Staff was not nearly as friendly as before. They really need to use the words "Thank you," and "you're welcome." Was greeted as a club member rather than Platinum and after I showed my card, she still said the computer said I was Club so that's what she goes by. We went to our rooms and the kids started to get their swimming suits on, in all stages of undress, the door opens and another family barges in. They had given our rooms to someone else. It took us over 30 minutes to get it straightened out. Then, they canceled our keycards so then none of us could get in the room. Another 15 minutes to work out that problem. We booked a room for 6 and the bathroom had 3 towels! No sheets or blankets for the pull out bed. Pool had no towels and it took over 2 hours to get maybe 6 more towels for the 15 of us still at the pool. We will try it again next year but I really hope the customer service they once had has returned. We like the hotel but it was just too full of problems for us to come back. August 30, 2014

The staff was more than willing to change my room due to a water leak. I came in without a reservation and the staff worked to find me a room and signed me up for the rewards program. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed abd mediocre service. You get what you pay for, a cheap room nothing more. I have stayed in worse in the past. The quality was decent, for the price. I was more so disappointed with the deteriorating of the bathroom and how staff handled the problem. The neighborhood was run down also resulting in a little discomfort. The hotel was well lighted and clean for the most part. Internet service and cable were both decent. The location is only 10 minutes from all tourist attraction's. The staff was excellent and went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable by recommending a restaurant and received a discount because we were staying at the hotel. They also were having free hotdogs and chilidogs in the lobby, offered by the manager. We had water, soft drinks, and trail mix offered to us because of being a club member. July 28, 2014
