When in this area, I normally stay at the Holiday Inn Pointe Claire, but others were staying at this location ( all for the first time), so I decided to give it a try.
They have an interesting large floating marble ball that rotates in the lobby which was unique.
Both check in and check out staff looked tired and disinterested. No recognition for being a priority club member like you typically get at other Holiday Inns. They gave me a handicap room without asking if that would be OK. The room was pretty beat up and the desk was unusable. I am a business traveler, so this was not convenient.
I would not go here again, with so many better hotels, for a similar price in the area.

My stay was ok but horrible to get to due to the construction, breakfast has no opions and no one refilling it and no room service or restuarant close.

This hotel is not recommended for anyone. At the airport, they advertise a shuttle service to this location; however, what they don't indicate is that you need to call in advance. This is the only hotel that does not automatically show up - and of course they don't tell you this on their website. They will let you stand in the cold and rain for as long as it takes you to figure out that you have to call, regardless of the fact that the other IHG hotel shuttles will tell you that yours will be there shortly. Lack of communication is evident amongst this "hotel group" in Montreal. When you do get into the shuttle, the driver makes it seem as though it is your fault that you didn't call and makes fun of you for not calling sooner?? Similarly the front desk clerk indicates the same - and makes it seem like it is your fault for not automatically knowing you had to call them for a shuttle. This type of experience really destroys your vacation from the start. In addition to the shuttle issue, the cleanliness and location of the hotel is terrible. No recognition as a member of IHG given, lack of care and concern from the staff and no real area to eat and socialize in the hotel I recommend NOT EVER staying at this hotel.

This hotel has the most friendly staff, the rooms have hardwood instead of carpet. The addition of the Bistro is a great touch. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean, modern and well laid-out rooms. Staff are exceedingly courteous and helpful. There is never a long wait for the shuttle to the airport and the drivers are very friendly.
