Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Will stay again! I was very impressed with hotel during my overnight stay, before my flight in the morning. The reception I received was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and actually beautiful! The breakfast was hot and delish. The shuttle to airport was on time. I would definitely reccomend this hotel without hesitation. Staff couldn't fix it and had to bundle up through the night. What kind of hotel doesn't test to see if heater works in the midst of winter. December 11, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location, but not a great hotel When in this area, I normally stay at the Holiday Inn Pointe Claire, but others were staying at this location ( all for the first time), so I decided to give it a try. They have an interesting large floating marble ball that rotates in the lobby which was unique. Both check in and check out staff looked tired and disinterested. No recognition for being a priority club member like you typically get at other Holiday Inns. They gave me a handicap room without asking if that would be OK. The room was pretty beat up and the desk was unusable. I am a business traveler, so this was not convenient. I would not go here again, with so many better hotels, for a similar price in the area. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Staff and Information This hotel is not recommended for anyone. At the airport, they advertise a shuttle service to this location; however, what they don't indicate is that you need to call in advance. This is the only hotel that does not automatically show up - and of course they don't tell you this on their website. They will let you stand in the cold and rain for as long as it takes you to figure out that you have to call, regardless of the fact that the other IHG hotel shuttles will tell you that yours will be there shortly. Lack of communication is evident amongst this "hotel group" in Montreal. When you do get into the shuttle, the driver makes it seem as though it is your fault that you didn't call and makes fun of you for not calling sooner?? Similarly the front desk clerk indicates the same - and makes it seem like it is your fault for not automatically knowing you had to call them for a shuttle. This type of experience really destroys your vacation from the start. In addition to the shuttle issue, the cleanliness and location of the hotel is terrible. No recognition as a member of IHG given, lack of care and concern from the staff and no real area to eat and socialize in the hotel I recommend NOT EVER staying at this hotel. November 19, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stay We've stayed here 3 times (Oct2012/Sept2013/Oct2013), Staff was helpful. The room was clean, pleasant, I liked the "hardwood" floors, the free breakfast was Good for a quick bite before leaving. We stayed here to take advantage of the parking packages (Park, Stay & Go Package) with the shuttle service. The shuttle going to the airport was great. You give them a time and away you go. Drivers are lovely. Polite, helpful, friendly. Issue is with the pick up from the airport. They give you a phone number to call once you pick up your luggage. Our flight arrived at 4:20pm. I called the number 1st time, with no answer. 2nd one a lady answered to me and she said he is coming half hour waiting and nothing, then I called for 3rd time finally we got the shuttle bus, we wait for total of 1 hour to get it. The driver was rude and did not admit that he wasn't "available" and he told us that he came to airport 15 mins earlier, nice try, it's like were blind…. We might give this place one more try before moving on. October 28, 2013

From the booking in right up to the leaving the next day, the hotel is geared on getting on with business. No wasted time, fast greating, fast settling in and number one service. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Night Stay I'm a rewards member so we've stayed at our share of Holiday Inns This one didn't dissappoint. We stayed two separate nights on our way to and from Orlando. The rooms are nice, clean and the beds were comfortable. The shuttle left both mornings when requested but be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes at the airport when you call for the shuttle. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast, as usual, was better than most hotels offer. Based on the fact that it's free, I give it top marks. I would recommend this place to anyone for a short stay in Montreal. October 19, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Construction Information and Breakfast The hotel is fine, but with recent construction along Cote de Liesse and the Dorval circle, there should have been information available to guests to show them alternate routes to get to the hotel. When asked specifically about this at the front desk, the instructions were vague, and part of them were wrong. The breakfast was great, and the dining space was spacious and comfortable. And in spite of being across the road from one of the major runways at the airport, this did not create any problems with sleeping - I kept the fan on to create white noise. October 15, 2013

The only 2 disappointing things we experienced is the uncomfortable mattress of the sofa bed and the fact that there was no extra rollaway bed available when we arrive for our family of 5. We had to insist at 10 PM and finally they found us an extra bed... Overall, great experience but not at a bargain price. October 14, 2013

Unfortunately a major negative was the length of time awaiting the arrival of the courtesy bus at the airport. Four phone calls and an eighty minute wait time was really not acceptable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible TV I was quite upset after a long day or work and driving that when I got into my room at 9pm, the tv would not turn on. I called reception and about 15 minutes later someone came to look at it. There was an issue with the chords. He fooled around with the chords and plugs and finally got the tv to work after 5 minutes. Then in the morning the tv would not turn on. I did what he did the night before, and it turned on after 5 minutes of fidgeting. I was NOT happy. September 29, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel! Very updated amenities. I would stay again. I stay at HIEx about 100 nights a year and I would say this is probably the nicest facility I've seen. This hotel does a great job of serving the breakfast. The area was clean and the server was attentive to keeping the food choices full. The seating is bright and inviting with good views of the TV if the traveller is inclined to watching during breakfast while they also provide seating away from the TV as well. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unimpressed Front desk staff were rude and unfriendly. TV was broken and took 2.5 hours for it to be replaced. The staff member who replaced it was friendly. We wanted a bottle opener but the front desk staff said the only option was to bring the bottle down to front desk to be opened there. That would be fine if it wasn't for the attitude that went along with it! The pool was too cold. We booked the hotel for some relaxation after a stressful funeral before heading back home the next morning. The rudeness of front desk for check in made us want to just drive home that same day except the room was prepaid. A smile would have gone a long way! Usually holiday inn express is a treat for us.
