I recently had to spend a night in Morgantown, West Virginia, so I could check in to the WVU Heart Institute for a procedure that began at 6:30 a.m. A stressful situation? Yes. But my entire experience with this hotel was not only pleasant, but lifted my spirits. The young man who processed my reservation upgraded me to a suite without prompting by me. His manner and charm set the tone for my brief trip. The property was easy to find. The check-in was smooth, the young woman at the desk helpful in locating a sought-after retailer in the area. And the room/suite was the perfect place to relax before turning in. A quiet evening of reading, followed by a rare good night's sleep, left me in good spirits as I faced my trip to the hospital.

I had a king suite room, which sounds great except the tv in the sitting room intercepts the changes on the remote in the bedroom area. So, when turning off the bedroom tv to go to sleep, the sitting room tv turns on..no way to stop that except to get out of bed an stand in front of tv to turn it on/off.
Breakfast was really bad…no yogurt, no cinnamon rolls, bread very stale. Water and orange juice taste horrible, maybe from bad water? Strong sulphur taste.
Fitness center is great!
