Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed in Result I recently stayed at the Morrilton Holiday Inn Express. I used the IHG website to make the reservations with the impression that I was using my points to pay for my rooms. Upon checking in I confirmed with the clerk that my rooms were to be paid for by redeeming points, the clerk confirmed and took my credit card information in the event there were any incidental charges. The morning of check out there was a receipt under the door. I went to the front desk to immediately correct the charges. The desk clerk stated that the hotel manager was not on the property but that she would be contacted to resolve the situation. I then called IHG to make them aware of the mix up. IHG stated that the Hotel manager would have to authorize the the change. I contacted the Hotel manager and was told that she would allow the change and would take care of it when returning to the Hotel. This is over a month later and the Hotel Manager nor IHG has done anything to correct this wrong. I as a Spire Member of IHG expected some assistance for my years of loyalty to the IHG Hotels. I will not be doing business with any other IHG hotels and advise anyone dealing with IHG or the Morrilton Holiday Inn Express deal strictly in cash. Do not give this hotel your credit card information. I truly wish some effort had been made to correct this problem as I have stayed almost exclusively at IHG hotels for many years. December 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No Bottled Water but clean place and nice rooms Clean, nice rooms and beds. Easy access to my business needs. Fair price. Disappointed in the reception--I asked for bottled water when I checked in at 4--she said they had not gone to Walmart to get any bottled water. I asked again that night--still no water; and none the next morning either. I am not sure if I will stay again as I don't think she listened to the needs or her customers nor did she anticipate the needs by getting water before they ran out. December 17, 2015
