Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Service and staff were excellent. We had come to Morrilton a funeral for my niece. We came from Oklahoma, N. Carolina, Chicago, Georgia. The staff managed to put us all up on one section of the third floor, which was very good as we could intermingle and wander out of each others rooms. The staff was very considerate of the situation and even to the point of when seeing us in the hallway or the eating area ask if there was anything else they could do for us. Totally made it an enjoyable visit in spite of the situation. Will be staying there again even though we have family in Morrilton. Love knowing we have the freedom to go and come as we please. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good stay! Day One Room 101 - Bathroom door had to be forced shut to latch, roaches in the bathroom, loud noise and door slamming all night. Our worst experience was the bath tub drain was partly plugged causing water back up while taking showers, causing soapy water on the bottom of the tub and causing my wife to slip and fall. The next morning I reported all issues to the desk clerk and requested maintenance on the tub drain. While the desk clerk apologized for the room condition they did not ask if my wife sustained any injuries or seem concerned about her slipping. (She is OK!) Later that night we returned to the room only to find the bath tube drain to be partly plugged as it was the previous night. I went back to the front desk and requested another room. The night clerk was happy to give us another room plus offered a 10% discount. Day Two Room 402 - We finally found the TV remote control on the floor between the bed and night stand. We went to the swimming pool that night and found the pool water to be dirty. When we pulled back the covers that night we found the portion of the sheets that are tucked under the mattress to be wet. Why anyone would put wet sheets on a bed is a mystery to me. So back to the night desk clerk and he came to our room with dry sheets, remade the bed and offered us another 10% discount. The next morning our check out invoice was full price. I asked the desk clerk about the two 10% discounts offered to us and was told the auditor took discounts off and the desk clerk had to re enter the discounts and print a corrected invoice. While both desk clerks were very kind and helpful they failed to follow through with promises. June 25, 2015
