Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Non-smokers beware This hotel allows smoking on the third floor. My room on the second smelled of old cigars. Staff was not overly friendly - wasn't greeted as a priority club member and didn't know if I was even counted as a member until I checked out. Worse of all, their Internet service does not allow VPN access so I was unable to do any of my business work or check emails. My lesson learned is that I'll stay in Joliet rather than this HI express in Morris. Not worth it! June 15, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tuesday Soups On It was so cold and windy when we arrived. We were welcomed friendly, chewy chocolate cookies were there to greet us, and we were told soup's on. There were two varieties of soup hot and ready. The best welcome we could receive! After a stressful day of traveling and being in the cold-to the point of my fingers not wanting to function-this was a great way to relax and let all the stress go. April 11, 2013

We LOVE the front desk staff and the wonderful lady that manages the breakfast area. Great management here. We are always made to feel at home. We travel with our pet Henry and are thrilled they can accommodate him as well. Our room is always clean and comfortable. Thank you ALL at the Morris Holiday Inn Express for all you do.
