I informed the front desk , only to be told that I need to contact the provider and go through certain steps.I have a IPAD, No steps to go through. We booked the hotel room a half hour before arriving and upon our arrival without even asking the girl who checked us in upgraded our room. We had been riding our bikes all day and she had no problem letting us bring our bikes into our rooms which saved us the hassle of worrying about them being parked outside all night . The room was modern, new, clean and very comfortable!! We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and had a great breakfast before leaving.....we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!!! October 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT Property I stay at a number of IHG properties in my travels for work, and the Holiday Inn Express in Morris is one of the best. I booked this room on Reward Points for a stay during the Grundy County Corn Festival. I expected to find a loud, packed hotel and be put in a small room somewhere. The front desk clerk was very friendly, and when he asked if there was anything else he could do for us, I joked about a Platinum upgrade. I was floored when he looked in the system and found us a suite with a whirlpool. What a great way to end a long week! I especially appreciated this kindness as I know that rooms booked with Rewards points don't necessarily qualify for any upgrades. Many thanks to the Holiday Inn Express in Morris. If I need a hotel in the area, I won't hesitate to return. October 1, 2013

The rooms were nicely updated and had all the comveniences we needed. The staff was courteous and attentive and the full breakfast that was included with the room price was delicious. The room was so comfortable and clean. Although I did not eat the breakfast, the selection and amount was impressive. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Non-smokers beware This hotel allows smoking on the third floor. My room on the second smelled of old cigars. Staff was not overly friendly - wasn't greeted as a priority club member and didn't know if I was even counted as a member until I checked out. Worse of all, their Internet service does not allow VPN access so I was unable to do any of my business work or check emails. My lesson learned is that I'll stay in Joliet rather than this HI express in Morris. Not worth it! June 15, 2013

There were two varieties of soup hot and ready. The best welcome we could receive! We LOVE the front desk staff and the wonderful lady that manages the breakfast area. Great management here. We are always made to feel at home. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Just exactly what I needed. A clean room to take a shower and get a good night sleep. The fitness center was adequate and breakfast (bagels and muffins) were ready very early. I appreciate that as I usually leave the hotel by 4:45am for business. The only thing I might grumble about is the "thin" walls and floors. I had a person above me that I thought was in a walking race. And, I heard, as clear as a bell, the lady across the hall and one door down sneezing. November 15, 2012

The rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator as well as a nice TV. Morris has plenty of fast food, Walmart, Jewel, etc just south on state road 47. November 7, 2012
