Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointment! Arrived 12:30 AM. No recognition for my Platinum status. I paid for 2 rooms for 2 people. Upon arrival to my room the TV wouldn't work. Had to change rooms. The breakfast bar was sub par for typical HIE. The whole wheat bread was beyond stale, it was hard. No eggs available so I went for the Raisin Bran. The raisins were rock hard! I gave up after 6 or 7 raisins were inedible. Milk selection was whole milk only and only 3-4 cartons available. OJ was empty. This was the worst experience I have encountered with IHG/HIE in years. Coincidences maybe! But I feel compelled to report what I consider service that is below the standard I have come to expect as a dedicated customer. The value of this particular stay just wasn't to my expectation. December 13, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice HIE in Morton A nice hotel that i have stayed at before but my stay had a few issues, 1) they did not acknowledge I was a platinum elite IHG member 2) they did not have a fridge in my room 3) also although I reserved a king bed with the reservation office they only had a 2 queen bed room available when I checked in The staff is very nice, excellent in fact and they have a get together with wine and snacks for guests at 6:00 PM Overall a positive hotel just with the smaller bed ( I am 6'4") and no fridge it was not up to my usual IHE requirements and expectations. Nearby gas & food help cut travel time. My wife especially appreciates cleanliness/convenience while we both enjoy the continental breakfast variety. The staff was nice and the Hotel is very convenient to Morton, IL. The bathroom was perfect and homey. Clean and fresh-smelling towels were abundant. We will definitely stay at this Holiday Inn again. December 2, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I stay often The room I stayed in was a queen suite and the heater didn't have the constant air feature so I woke up several times when the air kicked on. I like the constant air feature to eliminate outside noise. I really like this hotel and had so many 100% positive stays. Most of the rooms I stayed in had the constant air feature. I'm really down grading them this time for two big no nos. they did not have their signature cinnamon buns at breakfast, bananas either. Doesn't everyone eat one of those at breakfast? Number two is the Internet. While it worked great when we arrived, in the morning (Monday), it would not connect. I tried three times checking the password, checking my spelling. Nothing. So, someone should have thought to tell they change the password on Monday morning and included them with the first instructions. And saying "Sorry about that" just doesnt cut it. I heard that from two different staff members. I don't like giving poor reviews. The hot tub was delightful. October 24, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value; clean and comfortable As a frequent traveler to the Peoria/Morton area, I have found that there are few choices for a decent hotel. The Holiday Inn Express is one of the best in the area. The rooms are clean and you rarely hear your neighboring rooms and best of all the prices are reasonable. No extra charge for parking, a decent breakfast, a workout room and pool, free wi-fi and I think there is even a laundry room so you don't have to pack dirty clothes for the trip back home. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the hotel is located very close to several major highways. Overall, an excellent value. I would recommend the HIE to anyone visiting the Peoria/Morton area. October 14, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Poor breakfast I've stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels over the last few years. Generally the breakfast is something I can county on being good. This experience was not the usual. I understand that the hotel was full but several things had run out and it took a while to restock them. I would think that the person taking care of the breakfast area would know when the hotel is full that they need to keep an eye on the food. An example was the scrambled eggs. By time they brought more out we were done with our breakfast. We heard several others complain about this also. thanks September 25, 2013

It had one of the best beds I have ever slept in, and I spend about 90 days per year in hotel rooms. The staff was great, got us checked in quickly and efficiently and there were cookies upon or arrival! The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed and there was coffee 24/7. Breakfast was great and the bottles of water in the morning for our trip was much appreciated. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. Its a great place to stay! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MMMM! Cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I love a simple breakfast - cereal and milk. However, I can't seem to not eat these great, hot cinnamon rolls. Other choices abound - eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, toast, and it goes on. As always, the rooms are comfortable clean and quiet. Holiday Inn Express is always my first choice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful and comfortable rooms! I went to a Women of Faith conference in Peoria, IL. There were 14 of us and we had 4 rooms. The hotel staff accommodated us by putting our rooms together. I have stayed at many HolidayInn Expresses and this was one of the best. The place was beautiful. We all had a great nights rest in the comfortable beds. The pillows are some of the best anywhere. The breakfast has a great variety for everyone. We will definitely be back next year for the next conference. We hope to have even more women to go next year. So thanks for a great stay! August 20, 2013
