We've been staying here the last few years as a stop on our annual trip to Myrtle Beach. The rooms are always very clean and the beds are comfortable. We LOVE the pancake maker!

This was our 2nd stay here. It was not an accident we returned. Very nice staff adn the room was very good.
As with all HIEs, you'll likely want to go somewhere else for breakfast -- unless you like high fat, high carbo, food -- mostly prepared "instantly" -- powdered eggs, "orange juice" where the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, etc.
As I said, this is one of the better HIEs.

We had an excellent stay at Mt Airy. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast the next morning was in a warm comfortable environment. Would stop there again as we travel through the area.

Asked for a late check out at noon I was told if it was available. Being a PC Member and IHG member, I didn't think I was asking much. Few employees were VERY short with me about checking out 1 hour later.
Bathroom had many hairs on the floor.

This was the first time we had been to Mt. Airy and the hotel went out of their way to make our trip a good one. From tips on where to go to good restaurants, they were there to help. Also, my wife had some health issues while there and all the employees seemed concerned and continually asked how she was doing - thank you. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My favorite hotel, my family enjoyed it there a lot. The breakfast is tasty, the rooms are roomy and clean, and the pool is nice.

The staff has been superb each and every stay we've had at Mt. Airy NC
We've checked in at midnight; we've change reservations within the last 2 hours of checking in; still the same refreshing folks. Always friendly at morning breakfast. Check out is the same as well!! Plan to return in March 2013

staff was very accommodating from the time we checked in until departure the next morning. Hotel was clean and it was very quiet, making it easy to fall asleep. I prefer waffles, not pancakes for breakfast ( my only complaint)!
Located a little further from the Intstate than I would like, but I can live with that part of the stay.
I will stay here again.

Just about everything during our stay at the Mt Airy Holiday Inn Express was great. The greeting from the desk staff, the beds, shower, breakfast- all great!
We could have used a small refrig in the room, also, when we wanted to make coffee 1st thing in the morning, the coffee carafe was missing.

I have had about 3 stays recently at this location and every time I have stayed, the staff at the front desk, breakfast and evening refreshments had been very kind and considerate. A real pleasure to interact with. The room is always clean and cared for. Great location to stay.

We LOVED this hotel. Check in was incredibly easy. The lobby was inviting. Our room was spacious and more than we expected. We had the Jacuzzi suite. I was able to sleep without disturbance after a relaxing soak in the enormous hot tub. The shower was equally large! I really liked having the extra outlets in the base of the lamps on the nightstand. I hate having to move things around or unplug something to charge my cell phone as I have to do at other hotels. The TV and channel selections were fantastic. Everything was beyond what we expected and we felt very much at home.
We enjoyed breakfast. The selection was good. We enjoyed the sausage and eggs. Would have liked some bacon, but understand the ease of cooking sausage patties over bacon, so were not disappointed.
We ate at Ruby Tuesdays and explored Mt. Airy. We plan on making this at least a yearly trip and will be staying here each time.

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express during the Autumn Leaves Festival and although at the time we did not know a whole lot about the hotel. However, it did not take us long to realize we had made the right choice in hotels. The people here were very friendly and knowledgeable. We did not want for anything while we were there. We have stayed at many hotels but none were as friendly as this place was to us. No doubt we will be back soon! If you're planning a visit to Mount Airy, NC be sure to stay here...you won't regret it!

I booked 2 rooms one king suite and one 2 queen suite both were exceptional. The couch and chair in both rooms were so comfortable, as were the beds. Convenient location, staff was great, had to call to get directions because GPS could not "find" address and staff was super helpful and courteous. Would highly recommend staying here. Biggest draw back limited breakfast choices due to pancake maker being broken but I booked right after a super busy weekend so that many have been a factor.

This hotel is very well taken care and has all the new Tv with HD. Room were very clean and comfortable. Staff had me checked in very quickly. Door keys were already made. Will stay there again if in the area.
