Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Walls are a little thin The person in the room next to ours asked us if we were the same occupants the night before. He said the snoring was so loud it disturbed him. We were not there so it certainly wasn't us. But, we became aware that the environmental noise can be heard from the halls, outside, etc. As a sensitive sleeper, I used ear plugs. It would be nice if all hotels built quality buildings to avoid this issue. Other than that, it is a superior hotel. November 17, 2014

Looked like a brand new hotel and found out from the locals at the wedding reception we went to that the hotel is 5 years old! Close proximity to Walmart if you forgot anything as well as restaurants and shopping. November 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Scented Linens From our experience the Holiday Inn Express uses scented linens unless the guest requests otherwise. We requested unscented which we got, but that did not take care of it 100%. We brought our own linens. There was still some scent on the bed and in room. My question is: Why would any hotel use scented unless they were trying to cover up some other smells? Today there are many people allergic to perfumes, etc. Pancake maker was not working 2 of the last 3 visits. October 30, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy and outdated rooms Noisy and outdated rooms • The floor crackled underneath my feet, no matter how soft I walked or anywhere I walked to. The furniture a cross the bed, vibrated and crackle every time I moved to do something. I felt uncomfortable and self-conscience because I tried not to disturb the people in the floor below. • I recommend getting someone to remove the carpet and fix the boards that possibly loosened up, buckled, or warped overtime. • I highly recommend you hire an expert to do noise control measurement, you want to think about a white or a pink noise solution depending on the outcome of the measurements. This will offer your guests a good night sleep. Not a nightmare from hearing showers going next door or other nuisance noises. • There was an awful smell in the room and the bed sheets; ventilation could be to blame. I did not sleep well and I did not enjoy the stay unfortunately. October 29, 2014
