Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very clean, comfortable and great service Excellent IHG property in the Mountain View / Palo Alto, CA area. Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Everything is very clean and my stay is always comfortable. Also love the secure parking located on ground-level below the hotel. December 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Guest room is decent and receptionist was friendly. December 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location This is a good example of a Holiday Inn express. It is a new property on El Camino Real in Mountain View. That makes it convenient as a base for business visiting the many tech companies in the area. Being right on the road, there is some noise from vehicles if you stay in rooms at the front. Light sleepers should ask for rooms at the rear. Breakfast is standard fare for these hotels - basic and functional but does the job. Overall good value for the area, November 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to get out of the rush I was doing a job in a new shop at the Stanford Mall, and had worked quite a day, I needed a good rest, and I got it, there, also it is walking distance to all sort of food and other merchants, so location is very good. November 25, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Central location, pleasant room in Silicon Valley This smallish hotel has new, nicely laid out rooms with a reasonable amount of space. Amenities and furnishings are quite extensive, including a microwave and refrigerator, though drawer and closet space is limited. Rooms include free wifi and a basic breakfast. My room faced the busy El Camino Real, and though the insulation was very good, still there was some road noise; also the window was not far from a bright blue light on the building's facade. The location is on an ugly commercial road, but as you'll almost certainly be driving, what's more important is that the location is good for Silicon Valley destinations. I was actually visiting someone nearby in Mountain View, and found the neighborhood to be quite pleasant off the main road. The Castro Street strip with many interesting restaurants is within walking distance. This is what would be considered a limited-service hotel, not to be confused with a budget hotel -- as apparently all nice accommodations are pricey in Google's hometown. November 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 1-Star!? Honestly, it's hard to believe this hotel is rated a 1-star. The room was clean, bed comfortable and just a very nice hotel that I would easily rate 3 stars or higher. The one downside might be the parking though. It's very tight. November 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value, This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. It was in an ideal location for my purpose. My room was on the second floor facing the street. There is a small shopping center in walking distance and fast food places. The hotel is recently updated, so looks fresh. Although, the toilet bowl looks old. When flushing the toilet, some droplets will splash out. When staying here, I would strongly recommend that you request the upper most floor, opposite from the street. You can hear footsteps from the room above you. Passing cars can be noisy. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Rooms in a Great Location We stayed at this hotel on our way to visit Stanford as a weekend trip. It was a little too far for us to drive there, enjoy the campus, and drive back in one day. We got there in the evening and the hotel was close to restaurants and very close to Stanford - a straight shot on El Camino in about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The lobby and breakfast center is a little on the smaller side, but the hotel is not the large in the first place. Our room was great, and everything was in order as expected. Checkout was quick and easy, although they did not offer us the usual "quick check-out" option. All in all, this is a nice hotel in a great location if your interested in visiting to Palo Alto, or Mountain View. November 6, 2014
