Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A welcome end to a long day on the road. Mount Airy is our regular stop on a two day drive from Ontario to Myrtle Beach. It is a welcome sight after nine hours on the road because we know what to expect when we get there. We always find a clean room, comfortable bed and amazingly perfect pillows. The staff is friendly and efficient at check in and check out and are always attentive if we need anything else. The only thing I would like to see updated is the cable TV service. Another HIE we stayed in on our recent trip offered DirectTV HD service on all channels and in this day of HD television there's really no excuse to have to watch low definition TV anymore, anywhere. Other than that, I fully recommend the Mount Airy Holiday Inn Express. We will be back in August. May 2, 2015
