Anytime we are in New Jersey visiting family we have stayed here even though it is many miles from their home. We are always sure we will be treated well and recognized as returning guests. Everything here always seems to be as comfortable as staying in a private home. The breakfast is suitable to our needs and the room is well attended. We were even told to take part in the evening dinner food of pizza and drinks. (NJ pizza is the best) Will return when we visit again. May 31, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Cleaning The bathroom was dirty; it had hair on the floor and a considerable amount of mildew around the tub. The room itself should have had more attention. Under the bed skirt, we found Cheerios and a used bottle of lotion. On our last stay at this location, our room was impeccable. It is hard to believe that the hotel is going downhill this fast. With a grandson and granddaughter at Blair Academy, we will be visiting this area frequently but will find somewhere else to stay. May 21, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beware of ants!!! So my finance and I decided to have a night in this hotel to relax and have some "us" time away from the kids, which barely ever happens. We were very excited about the whirlpool and sauna in the hotel. At first very nice, until I realized I had ants crawling all over my arm, towel, and other items. They were in the whirlpool AND sauna. We decided to head back to the room which was very nice, clean, and ant free. We had a suite with a jacuzzi tub which was very roomy and clean. Another disappointment was breakfast. I was told upon check-in free breakfast was until check out time. Check out time is 11 but they actually stop serving breakfast at 10. So, we missed it by 10 minutes and I feel we got jipped out of it. Probably best though because if there were ants in a whirlpool/sauna area then they are probably in the kitchen, too. Staff was friendly but not knowledgable with these matters. Vending machine on our floor only served drinks. We went downstairs where there were three machines: drinks, snacks, and microwaveable food/ice cream. We were hungry and had a micro in the room, but unfortunately the machine accepted our money even though all items (at least the ones we tried to get) were out. No indication of this. And then I ended up with $5 worth of quarters! Overall, an OK experience, but too many disappointments to say for sure if I would go back or not. There are many other comparable hotels in the area that I would try before trying to have a romantic evening here again. April 9, 2013

It's within an hour of the city, but it costs upwards of $100 less per night. We stay here the night before we go in and again the night that we leave. And it's nice, too! April 1, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by a bit disappointed my wife and I have stayed at this hotel before and had no real issues...this time, however, there were some real problems with the bathroom...the floor was so sticky it was obvious that the bathroom floor had not been washed in quite a long time your price is okay, the room size is fine, but cleanliness issues need to be improved dramatically March 15, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome!! The staff was very accommodating, the beds were super comfy, and they had everything we needed, including an in-room fireplace and jacuzzi. I stay at more than 4 hotels on a monthly basis and few compare to this one. Its definitely worth the few extra dollars over the nearby cheapies. You even get a hot breakfast that tastes excellent and the best service I have seen at a holiday inn (good to begin with) March 11, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Motion Stayed at this site many times. It is in a quiet location and woods behind it... Now they have these motion sensors on the wall that shuts down the heater every two hours if you are not walking around the room. So all night long I would hear a CLUNK as it shut off the heat. I then had to get out of bed and move around the room until it clicked back on... Horrible night of broken sleep... Never again. There shouold be an override or something. How can anhyone deal with this without getting mad... February 3, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay, always. Have been staying at this motel since it was a Holiday Inn Express. Worked for the government and have stayed here many, many nights over the course of about 18 or 20 years. The staff have always been nice and made one feel like family. A great location off RT I 80 and many good eateries and a Mall close by. When traveling between FL and home town in NH will always make it a night at this hotel. Many great memories here over the years for me. January 7, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service extremely rude and poor service! Very disappointed. Reservation was given away with no apology. So, late at night we had no room and the hotel rep did nothing to help us. It so happens we were there for a wedding and they gave our room to someone with the same last name, but did not have reservation. The excuse was that they register people under last name, despite the fact that the first names were different. A reservation made months in advance made no difference. There were no rooms when we were trying to check in and the hotel clerk made NO effort to help us. He was rude and lazy in his attempt to resolve our problem. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn ever again! December 8, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handicapp room I rented this room for my disabled sister's Thanksgiving visit. It was well equipped to meet her needs. There was a roll in shower with an adjustable height hose and a sturdy bench. There was one small shelf that was in the way above the handrail near the sink which was a hindrance but it would be easily removable and re-installable if necessary. So nice to have a comfortable place for her to stay. December 1, 2012
