This is a standard hotel for holiday inn. Everything is great except the internet as usual.

We actually loved the hotel, but we've sent two emails and called three times and they don't seem to be able to provide a final bill. I wasn't asked at checkout if I wanted one, and didn't think about it until we got back to California. I'd really like to know that I got what I paid for, but I'm not sure. Therefore they get a 1, because I can't give a 0.

After last years disastrous stay at this located. I said I would never again. But as a loyal IHG member I did it again!! This time the stay was improved. The elevator worked!! Still no pool because it was under construction. The hotel gym was to small and offered little. If you wanted internet you might get lucky. Seemed to have no internet in my room more than having it working. The rooms were clean and refresh. Breakfast was good but ends early. Staff was good, except the check in guy who NEVER rewarded me with my check in bonus, that IS the 2nd time the stiffed me!! Not even going to waste my time trying to get them this time. I'm really hoping I don't have another trip to this area for a long time!!

On 20-Feb my family stayed at your Muncie Holiday Inn during the regional Science Fair in room 110. The shower was non-functional and your repair person was in our room from 9:45 to 11:00 to repair. Our family was inconvenienced in having to stay up late waiting for the repairs to complete. I discussed the matter with you on Saturday morning and you discounted our room $20 and offered 10,000 rewards points.
I sent you the above email on 3/7. There has been no response and the 10,000 rewards points has NOT been credited to my account.

I attempted to call front desk several times during my 1 night stay to get the internet fix. The first guy (Doug) did nothing. He would just tell me it works on his phone so my 4 devices should work. The third shift guy apologies for troubles and said he would put 10,000 points in my account for troubles. Called several days later to get points and they only gave me 2,000. Staff was lazy to not reset the internet and not truthful with generosity.

Had made reservations about 2 weeks before my stay and seen that the hotel was going through so remodel phase. Contacted hotel and was told that the pool would be opened by the time I got there. Was looking forward to relaxing and the hotel staff assured me they would keep me up to date. Well when we arrived checked in and did some running in Muncie returning later that night and went down to front desk to inquire about towels for the pool when the attendant told me the pool was closed due to remodeling. Well if I would of known that I would of stayed elsewhere in Muncie plus the bed was terrible to sleep on and the breakfast was not as great as other Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed at. Plus when I got my bill nothing was taken off because of the pool--same rate. Room had a smell to it.

I travel all over the US and I have to say, working with Kacey and Phoebe makes my travel experience simply awesome.
Kacey and I work together multiple times a year on room blocks and she is so efficient and always available. Phoebe at the front desk, always a smile and accommodating.
You have a wonderful staff and hope you take care of them corporate :)
