Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding service Overall excellent experience. The beds were outstanding, and particularly comfortable. We slept better than we do at home. The room was clean and quiet. We were especially impressed with "Linda", who was in charge of the breakfast bar. She was exceptionally friendly and polite. We looked forward to seeing her at breakfast each of the three days we stayed. The desk clerks were very professional as well. Our only inconvenience was very low water flow at the bathroom sink. The tub and shower water pressure was fine. This was reported to the desk, and we assume repairs were made. This is our third stay at the Murfreesboro Central location, and we plan to make reservations here the next time we are in the area overnight. Thank you! May 21, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Frienly and Courteous Staff Overall our experience was positive. There was a noisy group that carried on a little too long one evening requiring us to call the front desk. Otherwise, it was quiet. The hotel staff was very courteous. In particular, Charles at the front desk who went out of his way to assist us with information about local Civil War national parks and battlefields. He was very friendly and helpful. Please pass along our thanks to him. He is an excellent ambassador for HIE, Murfreesboro Tennessee. The woman who assisted us at breakfast was also attentive and friendly. Nice lady, very sweet. The bed was pretty firm, more than most hotels I've stayed in (5-6 hotels/year), but it did not interrupt my sleep too much. The breakfast was good. We like to stay at Holiday Inn Express for their cleanliness, well-appointed rooms, and good breakfast. This one was no different. We usually like to use the pool but did not have time during this stay. The pool is outdoor and was closed. I did not inquire about it since we weren't going to use it but I was surprised for late April that the pool was closed. May need to inquire about pool availability if that is part of your consideration. Breakfast had ample supply of each item, hot food was hot, and cold food was cold. Love the cinnamon rolls! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pro's and Con's Staff was very friendly upon arrival and checkin. We were please to find a spacious room after a long days drive and two tired kids. We did notice that the sink at the wet bar seemed to drain very slowly, which wasn't a problem in and of itself. Unfortunately after the second person used the restroom it clogged and remained that way throughout the rest of our overnight stay. The two remaining members of our party had to use the public restrooms off of the lobby. Being that we checked in very late and left early in the morning we decided not to have hotel staff address the bathroom situation since we really just wanted to get some sleep. Our son was unfortunate enough to have to sleep on the pullout. The mattress was ridiculously thin and sunk below the frame at the foot of the "bed" and a good portion of the springs were missing. The two queen beds were extremely comfortable. I did notice that the doors and walls could have used a decent wash/wipe down. March 26, 2014

The staff as a whole was most helpful, especially as we renewed our stay for an additional night on two consecutive mornings after our first night.
