The inn has been neglected and is dirty from the lobby to the room to the breakfast area. I mentioned this to the manager and his comment was that it was in a bad environment for a Inn? Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Short Stay I got in at 2am and left by 8am so it was a very brief stay. It was a normal great stay at a HIE, but there was this terrible air freshener put in the A/C unit that set off my allergies like none other. I got some pens and pulled it out and after about 20 minutes it was ok but I sneezed until I fell asleep. October 30, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and Helpful Staff First time staying at the Holiday Inn Express at Murrell's Inlet, SC. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. The hotel is close to places to see, eat, and shop around the area. The also accepted pets, as we travel with our to small dogs. October 14, 2014

Had to stand in the hallway as the staff readied it. After that, it ended up being a pleasant stay, but it wasn't the usual first run quality I have come to enjoy from H.I. October 9, 2014
