Great Staff is the only true positive I can say regarding this location. Pool was FREEZING COLD. Breakfast was so-so and did not meet the standard I am use to in the other locations I routinely stay in. Location is obscure yet convenient to some good restaurants if willing to drive.

Our first impression was the hotel was very worn down and needed a lot of updating. The ice machine on our floor was so loud that we could hear it day and night with our door closed. We were about 4 or 5 doors down from the ice machine. Second day, maids left a preprinted note between 10 a.m and 11 a.m that there would be no service that day, due to our sign on the door. I would have thought they would come back sometime in the afternoon. During 3 of the 4 nights we stayed, carpet was being laid from early in the morning ( around 8 a.m.) until late afternoon on the floor we were on. It was very loud and smelly. We were also disappointed that the exercise room only had one machine, but the day before we checked out, two more machines were delivered. We overheard several "meetings" between individual employees and we assumed new management about the employees responsibilities. I would have thought these would have been more private meetings. The breakfast lady was great. Almost had to wait for someone at the desk to appear every time we needed something. Staff , excluding the breakfast lady, was very unfriendly and never said good morning, or acknowledged us. It appears that the hotel is being updated and possibly new management will address employee moral.
